-12 days since Peter vanished-

Saturday. Its Saturday. The day that Emma had been dreading for so many reasons. She had to go and be the emotional distressed girlfriend as everyone mourned Peter.

Emma stood in front of her bathroom mirror that morning, it was quite early. She didn't really sleep well after her nightmare so she went on patrol. She lifted her shirt up to reveal small bruising on her ribs.

"Damn," She groans as she pokes at it.

Nothing was broken, just bruised. Emma sighs and then looks at the reflection once again. It was a matter of time before Emma started working herself to her boiling point, pretending she's okay and fine because that's what everyone wants to hear.

Her phone went off. Glancing down at the text it was from Ned. Reminding her of the event at his place.

Sighing she replies saying she'll be there and then placed the phone back down on the bathroom sink.

"Today is going to be a long day," Emma said.

Emma arrived at Ned's place. His mom answered the door and like she expected, his mom pulled her in for a hug. She was saying how she is sorry about Peter. Just what Emma wants, to feel even worst.

When his mom let go of her, she entered the building. She found herself in the living room. Seeing that MJ, Cindy, Betty, Abe, Miles, and a few other people were there with Ned. Ned looks up with a big grin on his face.

"Late to the party?" He asks.

Emma rubs the back of her neck, "Someone had to be." She said.

Emma moved over to the couch, where Cindy and MJ were sitting at. Most were sitting on the floor, Emma had joined in when everyone was talking about memories with Peter.

"I recall back before we attended Midtown," Betty said, "When we went to the same elementary school, Peter tried to set the school on fire."

Ned nods laughing, "I remember," He shakes his head with a wide grin, "He tried explaining to the principal that his intentions were to make a better science fair project that year but things got out of hands."

Everyone shared a laugh. Emma smiled softly. She wished she had this. Memories with Peter dating longer than this year. But she didn't. She was the former new kid, turned boyfriend to Peter.

"One time at band camp," One of the other kids Emma wasn't sure who they were spoke, "Peter let me take his music sheet and took the heat from the band coach saying he forgot his."

Abe smiles bitterly, "He was a great guy."

Cindy nods, "He was."

Emma made her hands into fists. She hated hearing that. "Peter was-" or "He was-", no one but her seemed to believe he was truly coming back.
