-Spring Formal-Emma was in her bedroom with Cindy and MJ that Saturday morning. The final week of school had ended, but the final school activity before saying goodbye was the Spring Formal.
This event had been something the entire student body had been looking forward too, and that includes the teen heroes.
"Hair up or down?" Emma asks as she steps out from the bathroom, "Come on this is serious."
MJ was laying on Emma's bed, "Peter wouldn't care."
Emma was about to pout, when Cindy stood up and gestured her to the bathroom.
"How about down and slightly curly?" Cindy suggested.
Emma stares at her reflection and nods, "Alright."
Emma plugged in her curling iron and then stepped out of the bathroom. The three girls were going to get ready for the dance at Emma's, then meet up with their crew for dinner, and then head to the dance.
MJ glanced up at Cindy, "So first dance with Miles. You nervous?" She asks.
Cindy messed with her hair, "Eh not really. I- I mean sorta but not like butterflies in my stomach nervous."
Emma smiles softly, "I remember how incredibly nervous I was for homecoming," She then laughed, "I hadn't really been around Peter's friends- well besides Ned and MJ."
Cindy turns to Emma, "And we're not just Peter's friends. We're also yours too." She said.
Emma couldn't help but smile at Cindy's remark.
"So MJ," Cindy turns to MJ, "Is there a guy that you have a major crush on?"
MJ rolls her eyes, "Me? Having crushes, gross."
Emma and Cindy both made eye contact and couldn't help but laugh at MJ's remark. MJ didn't take offense to the girls laughing, instead her rolled over on the bed to lay on her stomach.
"So junior year," MJ said.
Emma stood by the bathroom door and smiles softly, "Yeah."
Cindy sat down by Emma's bed, "It's so crazy to think of all that's happen this year." She said, "I mean I began a superhero literally a month or so ago."
Emma laughed lightly, "Yeah, it has been quite eventful."
MJ glanced at the two girls, "This year is going to be a drag," She complains, "Hearing about colleges, ACT, internships, jobs, and our future."
Cindy nods agreeing with MJ, "Yeah," Cindy glanced from MJ to the floor, "I just don't want to think about all that sad stuff yet."
The girls nod.
"Agreed," Emma said hugging herself, "I just want to enjoy the time we get to spend together."
The other girls smile at Emma's comment. The reason being, the three girls knew that as time goes on that they'll remain friends. And that includes the boys, because they've all become quite close in the short amount of time they've gotten to know each other.
