The Young Avengers: Not Kids Anymore [2]

- 8 days since Peter vanished-

The entire gang was at Emma's apartment. Cindy was impressed that this was where Emma was staying. It was in fact a nice apartment. MJ was not so surprised, she knew Tony Stark was her legal guardian for whatever reason.

"Okay," Emma said after tossing her bag on the couch, "Get your gym clothes out. We're gonna train."

"Right now?" Mile asks.

Emma turns to him, "You wanna do it another time?" She asks placing her hands on her hips.

Miles went to open his mouth but shut it.

MJ walks over to Emma's fridge like she had been living there like Emma, but in reality she hadn't. MJ pulled out a pudding cup and opened a drawer for a spoon.

"I can't wait to watch this." MJ grins.

Cindy looks from MJ to Emma, "Should Michelle even be here?" Cindy asks, "I mean does she even know about-."

MJ grins, "I know you two have super powers." MJ said, "And no, Emma didn't tell me."

MJ then took a spoonful of pudding and put it in her mouth with a grin on her face. Ned went over to the fridge and grabbed a pudding cup as well. As the two were eating pudding, Miles and Cindy changed into their gym clothes, as did Emma, well she wasn't wearing her gym clothes but her own work out clothes seeing as it was her place. She noticed MJ and Ned eating her pudding cups.

"At least leave one cup," Emma said, "I hate when my pudding is gone."

MJ rolls her eyes, "Oh just ask your billionaire guardian to buy you more." She said.

Emma gives MJ a look before heading over to the wall with the keypad, to anyone it looked like some weird painting. Emma put in the code and the wall revealed, Cindy was impressed as was Miles. MJ didn't seem to care as she ate her snack.

Ned went over to the computer, "I'll keep an eye out for any activity." He said.

Emma salutes him, "Thanks Chair-Man," She winks at him.

"Not my code name," Ned said.

Emma orders Miles and Cindy to stretch so they don't pull anything. Ema does the same but doesn't take nearly as long as the two of them. Once they finished stretching, Emma faces them fully.

"Alright, Web Warriors." Emma had a smirk on her face, "The purpose to today's training exercise is to try and knock me down."

"That it?" Miles asks.

Emma kept the smirk on, "If you think it's that easy."

"We use our powers?" Cindy asks.

Emma shakes her head, "This is hand to hand combat."
