- First day on Earth-It was Friday. Usually Fridays were more uplifting seeing as it was now the weekend, but people were still adjusting to everything that had happened. Not even in the Avengers group, but the entire world.
MJ, Ned, Miles, and Cindy headed out. Instructed by Tony, telling them to keep up with their usual patrolling and to allow Emma some time to adjust back to normal. After what Tony saw last night, Emma had a lot of feelings bottled up from recent events.
Emma was sitting at the breakfast that morning. She was eating a bowl of cereal and still in her sleepwear. She wore a loose fit blue Midtown High shirt, and black sweat pants.
"Morning," Tony entered the lounge where Emma was eating at.
Emma turns to glance at him, "Hey."
Tony reached into the fridge and grabbed the orange juice, "How did you sleep?"
Emma was playing with her cereal, "Eh, alright." She said.
Tony pours himself something to drink, "Alright, but if you need to talk-."
Emma placed her spoon down, "I know- I know." She calmed down the second time she said 'I know'.
"So where is Peter?" Tony asks.
Emma grabbed the spoon again, "Still sleeping."
Tony looked at the time, "It's almost noon." He said.
Emma shrugs, "I didn't want to wake him. He looked so peaceful and well I kind of kept him up late-."
Tony eyes drift over to Emma.
"Talking," She said, "We were talking."
Tony nods. He didn't want to push her, and instead decided to let her come to him if she needed him. Just then Steve came in with Natasha, looked like they had a run.
"Morning, Emma." Steve said, "Tony."
Steve did a nod at Tony, to which Tony raised his glass at Steve before taking a drink. Natasha moves over to sit next to Emma.
"Wanda didn't join you for workout?" Emma asks.
Natasha shakes her head, "She's uh- busy." Her eyes shifting from Emma to Tony.
Tony then moved around the breakfast bar to Emma, "How about you get dressed and wake up that lazy boy, Peter."
Emma rolls her eyes, "Fine."
As Emma got up and headed out, Steve took her empty bowl and washed it out for her. Natasha watched Emma walk out, not just her but also Tony.
Natasha turns to Tony, "How is she?"
"Dealing," Tony said and rubbed one hand behind his neck, "Which is understandable, she had gone through something rough."
Steve turns to Tony, "Do you think, that making Peter and Emma Avengers at that time was too rash? That they may not be ready to be Avengers?"
