A couple of hours after I fell asleep, I slowly started to wake.

I felt someone hold my hand.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw my dad was with me.

He looked at me with a little smile and stroked my hand.

'Hi there sweetcheeks' he said softly.

'Hi dad.' I whispered back.

'What time is it?' I whispered while slowly sitting straight.

'It's 11.30, are you hungry?' He said and stroked my cheek.

I nodded my head and he helped me get up.

My whole body felt numb and i've never felt more weak in my life.

'Are you okay?' Dad asked me while holding me.

'Yeah, just need to breath a little.' I whispered.

My voice is wrecked from everything.

Screaming at Luke, crying, screaming and crying at Daniel this morning.

'It's okay, take your time.' He said

I took a couple of breaths and then slowly walked to the kitchen with my dad.

The boys were all in the kitchen.

Daniel and Corbyn on guitar and the others with pen and paper, singing some tunes.

As soon as I entered the kitchen they all fell quiet and looked at me.

'Hi there.' I whispered with a little smile.

Jonah and Zach walked to me and took me in their arms.

Immediately I felt safe.

I wrapped my arms around them and hugged them tight.

'Goodmorning gorgeous.' Jonah said.

'Morning hotshot' I said with a little smile.

They let me go and smiled.

'How about you make me some of those famous eggs of yours?' I asked Jonah.

'Absolutely.' He replied.

'How are you feeling?' Jack asked my.

I sat down on the kitchen counter and faced them.

'Weak and numb and my throat hurts like a bitch, but other than that.. safe. I feel safe.' I said locking eyes with Daniel.

He smiled at me and I smiled back.

'We're gonna take care of you, I promise.' Corbyn said.

'This time for real. No one will hurt you ever again.' Zach followed Corbyn.

I looked at them

'I know, You don't have to tell me. I know that now.' I whispered.

I felt someone wrapping their arms around me from the back.

I knew it was Aspen by her smell.

'Hey' I whispered.

'Hey' she whispered back.

'Don't worry, Daniel explained what happened this morning, so I knew why you were gone.' She said and intertwined her hand with me while sitting next to me on the kitchen counter.

It was silent

'Y'all are being weird, what's going on?' I said softly.

'The police was here this morning. Luke confessed, but they need you to confirm the story.. and they told us to get you checked up in the hospital..' my dad explained carefully.

I swallowed and took a deep breath.

'D-Do i need to see him again?' I said.

My dad nodded his head.

'We're gonna be with you every second you're gonna have to do that.' Daniel said to me.

I looked at him.

I believed him.

'Okay.' I whispered.

'But first I have a little surprise for you.' My dad said with a little smile.

The doorbell rang.

Everyone's face turned into a smile.

'I think you should open that' Corbyn said.

Aspen helped me get off the kitchen counter and I slowly walked to the door.

'It's okay, Tess.' Zach said and I smiled at him.

I opened the door.
