Shane began commanding.
"Daryl, Bella, cover the back, you both have shotguns. Dale, T-dog cover each side," Shane was commanding. We all went in.
The walkers were back far enough that we didn't have to shoot yet. A man came out and cocked a gun, everyone spun towards him. He was holding a gun, I don't really know gun types that well.
                              "Anybody infected?" The man asked.
"One of our group was, he didn't make it," Rick answered.
"Why are you here? What do you want?" The man asked. He had short blondish hair, an average build, somewhat muscular arms.
                              "A chance," Rick answered hopefully.
"That's askin an awful lot these days," The man stated slowly walking forward, everyone had their guns aimed at him except for Daryl, he was still watching for walkers. I looked back every now and again. The living is more dangerous than the dead so I was watching the man.
"I know," Rick responded after a moment's pause. All went silent as the man looked over every single one of us.
"You all submit to a blood test, that's the price of admission," The man stated.
"We can do that," Rick answered. I wasn't afraid of needles, but I was a little nervous about this strange dude putting a needle into me.
The man put the gun down and went into a serious tone.
"All of you get your stuff now, once this door closes, it stays closed," The man told us, we all went to get our stuff. The door closed and sealed shut. The man's name was Edwin Jenner.

We were all crowded into an elevator, I was between Glenn and Lori. Carl was in front of me, I was against the back wall of the elevator.
"Doctors always go around packin in heat like that?" Daryl asked.
"Plenty lyin around, I familiarized myself," He stated, then looked at us, "but you all look harmless enough." (A pause) "Except you, I may need to keep an eye on you."
He stated nodding to Carl, he tried to hold back a smile but failed. Jenner smiled back, the elevator got us to where we needed to be and we all followed Jenner.
                              "Are we underground?" Carol asked.
                              "Are you claustraphobic?" Jenner asked.
                              "A little..."
"Try not to think about it."
We walked into a dark room.
"Vi, power the lights in the big room," Jenner commanded someone. Suddenly it was a bright room. There were chairs and computers everywhere.
"Welcome to zone 5," Jenner welcomed.
                              "Where is everyone?" Rick asked.
"It's just me here," Jenner answered.
"What about the person you were speaking with, Vi?" Lori asked beside me.
"Vi, say hello to the guests, tell them... Welcome," Jenner commanded.
A female computerized voice did as he said.
"I'm all that's left, I'm sorry," He said sadly.

Everyone else had taken their blood test besides me and Andrea, I went and then Andrea.
"What's the point? If we were infected we'd already be running a fever," Andrea stated.
