Daryl's P.O.V

We had another fire going. It was night. Beth was still hopeful about finding the group. I...... I wasn't sure about anything anymore, the feeling of Bella's lips on mine was engraved into my memory. I closed my eyes, imagining her beautiful eyes, her soft lips, the feeling of her skin, her soft hair. Everything. The woman I didn't spend enough time with and her child, who wasn't mine, but who I would've cared for till the day I died.

Katie's P.O.V

Glenn and I were in Cell Block A still. He hadn't woken up, I haven't left his cell. I was waiting there for him to wake before I left and I am so hungry. I need food and I need water, but I was terrified to leave. Walkers haven't made it this far, but I heard their groans outside. I hoped my mom was safe, I know she didn't mean to leave me here. I know Maggie didn't mean to leave Glenn here. Daryl wouldn't have left me here either, things must have gone really bad. I hoped Daryl and my mom were okay. Hopefully they were together at least. Glenn woke up slowly. Sitting up.

"Katie?" He asked.

"Hi," I responded softly. There was no wall, just open air. Walkers were after us, but we were too high up.

"Walkers!" He yelled.

"I know."

The whole place was overrun.

"Why didn't you leave!" He yelled at me.

"I didn't want to leave you," I answered.

"We gotta get out of here."

We turned around, walking through the door with our guns raised. Glenn had a machine gun. I grabbed the lantern and we made our way through the hallway. We were back in the cellblock. Glenn checked his old room and grabbed the pocket watch Hershel gave him. He also got a picture of Maggie. He grabbed their armor from under the bed and made me wear Maggie's. It was slightly too big, but he said protection was protection. He put his on and we left grabbing a bag of supplies on the way.  I had a machine gun with me, I grabbed it from the prison.

"Alright when I open this door, run, walkers will grab at you but don't stop moving for anything," He commanded. We ran out, walker after walker grabbed at us. We ran straight into the herd, it was hard to keep moving. It was scary, it was hot outside, and the smell was awful, even suffocating. More and more walkers grabbed at me. One of them broke their tooth on the shield in front of my face. That was gross.

We made it through and found a woman sitting behind a fence. She was one of The Governor's people.

"Glenn come on we have to go," I told him, the woman looked in our direction. I just wanted to find my mom and Daryl. We went into the fence cage she was sitting in. Glenn took her gun, she kept her eyes on the ground.  I sighed. We didn't have time for this. He checked the ammo.

"It's full, did you even fire a shot?" He asked her, she shook her head no.

"Alright, come with us," Glenn told her, she didn't move.

"So you're just gonna stay here, and die? That's your plan?" Glenn asked.

"I was part of this," She stated.

"I know," Glenn said. She looked at him.

"So what are you doing?" She asked.

"We need your help," He replied. We started a fire with some alcohol we found and threw it at a car, setting the car on fire. The walkers headed towards it rather than surrounding us. We ran with the woman, shooting at walkers that got too close to us. We ran out of the prison and into the woods, the armor slowed Glenn and I down, but the woman waited for us.
