Katie's P.O.V
We were still in the tunnel, moving forward. Tara and Glenn talked, I was trying to keep my eyes open for danger, trying not to panic. Or let fear take over. I held my nerve, I took shaky breaths, my body trembled. The darkness enveloped us. I wasn't afraid of the dark, I was afraid of what was in the dark. I was afraid of walkers. We found a pile of rocks, walkers were crushed inside. I swallowed the lump in my throat. The ceiling in this area collapsed.
"The blood is still wet, this happened today," I said shakily.
"We gotta go, now," I said when nobody responded. Glenn was checking all the walkers, making sure they weren't Maggie. It was taking too much time.
"Can we just go?" I asked, bouncing slightly, a thin layer of sweat formed on my skin. It wasn't because of heat, it was from fear. I was losing my nerve.
"In a minute," Glenn answered. We climbed the rock pile, on the other side was a herd of walkers. I had my gun, but I panicked and slipped falling straight for the herd. I screamed drawing more attention.
"Katie!" Tara screamed. I twisted my ankle, but I used all my strength to launch myself towards the rocks. A walker grabbed my hair, it reached my mid back now. It needed cut, but who knows. I was about to die, what's a hair cut for now?
I screamed and screamed as the walker yanked on my scalp. I took my gun and shot it 3 times in the head, it fell forward on top of me. I was laying on my back. Walkers snarled, coming forward. Glenn and Tara had jumped down and were running towards me. My ankle throbbed in pain.
"Help!" I yelled, tears fell down my face. The walker's blood fell down onto me, it's body weight crushing my chest. Other walkers were grabbing at me. Glenn and Tara were going through bullets trying to shoot them all down. I got the walker off of me, I stayed on the ground shooting at all the walkers I could see. More and more just kept coming into view. We didn't have enough ammo to kill them all. Glenn dragged me back up the rocks, Tara climbed back up quickly. The walkers were reaching for us. Tears slipped down my face. My heart was racing and my lungs felt like they were about to explode. I couldn't hold my stomach and I vomited on the side of the rocks. It was mostly water, chunks of food fom earlier today. It was disgusting.
We hid behind the rocks for a while, They were distracted on one side, so we managed to slip out through the other. Tara was behind me, she slipped and the rocks fell loose, creating a loud noise and she got her foot stuck.
"Shit," She muttered. Walkers looked at us. The rock on her foot was extremely heavy. Oh shit.
Daryl's P.O.V
We were inside, I was laying on the ground chewing on a cinnamon stick.
"Empty your bag," Len demanded.
"Step back," I snarled.
"My half of the cottontail is missing, you were the only one that could've taken it," He hissed.
"You're the only one still thinkin bout that crap," I snapped. Joe snatched my bag.
"Did you take the rabbit Daryl? Tell me the truth," Joe demanded.
"I didn't take nothin," I answered. He emptied my bag. The top of the rabbit fell out. So did the rest of my things. I had the most important thing in the pocket of my jacket. I had a picture of Katie and Bella. Katie had a polaroid that Michonne found on a run. So Katie had someone take a picture of her and Bella. They were standing together hugging inside the prison. They had the biggest smiles on their faces. I refused to take it out of my pocket in front of these guys. Katie gave it to me, she said in case we ever got seperated I'd have something to remember them. Although I could never forget those girls, no matter what.
