The next morning, someone was shaking me lightly. I pulled my blanket over my head and groaned.
"Come on, darlin," Daryl's voice said. I pulled the blanket down from my face and sat up. Groaning and wiping the sleep out of my eyes.
"We're clearin' bodies today, but first. Breakfast," He stated as we walked down the stairs. The group ate quickly. When I finished, I stood up and stretched. Then we all headed outside. The cars were being put in place in case this place did somehow become overrun.
"Where's Glenn and Maggie, we could use some help," Carol said as Daryl, Rick, T-dog, Carol, and I stood in a group.
"In the guard tower," Daryl answered.
"In the gurad tower? They were just there last night," Rick stated.
"Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl yelled, the shadow of someone's head popped up in the guard tower. The door came open and Glenn was shirtless and trying to get his belt on.
"You comin?" Daryl asked, we all laughed at the double meaning.
"What?" Glenn yelled down not hearing the first time.
"You comin?" Daryl asked again louder. We all laughed harder.
"Come on, we could use a hand!" Carol called. They nodded and went back in to finish getting dressed, we got the rest of our giggles out. We turned around to continue walking, I looked behind me one last time noticing the last two remaining prisoners.
"Hey, Rick," I said softly, all fun and games forgotten. Rick turned around with a smile, but it disappeared the moment he saw the prisoners. We all walked that way.
"That's close enough," Rick said, "We had an agreement."
"Please mister, we understand we made a deal. But we can't live in that place another minute. Ya follow me? All the bodies- People we knew. Blood, brains everywhere. There's ghosts," Mustache said, I think I overheard someone call him Oscar. I think the other man was Axel.
"Move the bodies out," Daryl suggested, he stood a few inches in front of me with his arms crossed.
"You should be burnin' them," T-dog stated.
"We tried, we did," Oscar sighed.
"The fence is down on the far side of the prison," Axel said, "Every time we drag a body out, those things just line right up. Been droppin the body then runnin back inside."
"Listen we had nothin to do with Tomas and Andrew," Oscar said walking forward, Daryl's body tensed slightly, "Nothin. You trying to prove a point?" Rick's hand moved to his gun, "You proved it bro. We'll do anything to be apart of your group. Just please don't make us live in that place."
"Our deal is non-negotiable, you either live in that cell block. Or you leave," Rick said coldly.
"I told you this was a waste of time, he's no different than the pricks who shot up our friends. Do you know how many friends' corpses we had to drag out this week?" Axel asked Rick, "Just threw em out like- These were good guys. Really good guys who had our backs against the bad guys in the joint like Tomas and Andrew. We've all made mistakes to get in here, chief. And I ain't tryin to be no saint, but believe me.... We've paid our due. Enough that we would rather hit that road than to go back into that shithole man."
Rick turned to face me and Daryl. Daryl turned to me. I shrugged, hinting that maybe they could help us. Daryl then looked to Rick and shook his head no.

We locked them in a square fence area, at least Daryl did. We all stood in a group about 20 feet away from them.
