Everyone was gathered in the room. The kids were with Jimmy. Most people looked nervous or sad. Beth was out of her shock and resting. Apparently she tried killing herself.

"Sooo how do we do this? Just take a vote?" Glenn asked.

"Does it have to be unanimous?" Andrea asked.

"Majority rules?" Lori asked.

"Let's just see where everyone stands, then we'll talk through the options," Rick suggested.

"Well where I sit, there's only one way to move on," Shane stated.

"Kill him," Theo piped in.

"Kill him? Why even bother take a vote, it's clear where the wind blowing," Dale announced, defeat taking over already.

"Well if people believe we should spare him, I wanna know," Rick stated, he was extremely stressed.

"Well I can tell you it's a small group, maybe just me and Glenn." Dale replied. It was silent for a minute, Glenn chewed on his lip before I spoke.

"Listen I-I think you're right on pretty much everything bu-" Glenn started, but Dale interrupted him.

"They've got you scared!" Dale said loudly.

"He's not one of us, and we've lost too many people," Glenn said softly, but loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Yeah, I'd hate for him to keep near one of our darling children," Theo added turning to glare at me.

"Don't start and don't bring Katie into this," Daryl hissed before I could say anything.

"Okay, back to Randall, what do you think?" Dale asked Hershel and his family.

"Can't we just continue keeping him prisoner?" Maggie asked.

"Just another mouth to feed," Daryl stated, shifting uncomfortably.

"And it might already be a lean winter," Hershel added.

"We could ration better," Lori suggested.

"He could be an asset! Give him a chance to prove himself!" Dale exclaimed.

"We could put him to work," Glenn stated.

"We can't let him walk around," Rick said shaking his head. I don't know why I'm here, I'm just gonna go with what everyone else decides.

"We could put an escort on him," Maggie pointed out.

"And who wants to volunteer for that duty?" Shane asked narrowing his eyes in disbelief.

"I will," Dale announced.

"I don't think anyone should be walking around with this guy," Rick stated holding his hand up.

"I don't think I'd feel safe unless he was tied up," Lori piped in.

"We can't exactly put chains around his ankle and sentence him to hard labor," Andrea said, her arms crossing over her chest.

"Okay, say we let him into the group. Maybe he's helpful, maybe he's nice. What happens when we let our guard down and he runs back to bring his 30 men?" Shane asked.

"So the answer is to kill him for a crime he may never even attempt?" Dale asked in disbelief, "If we do this... We're saying there's no hope. Rule of law is dead, we're saying there is no civilization."

"Oh my god," Shane muttered, putting his hand into his face.

"Could you drive him out farther, like you planned before?" Hershel asked.
