We walked all night long, Carl was ahead of us, I stayed beside Rick. Who limped along. I hoped everyone was okay. Michonne would be fine, I'm sure Daryl would be too. Katie, I hoped was with Glenn and Maggie or something. Michonne was one of my best friends. We had gotten very close at the prison.

"Can you try to talk to him?" Rick asked. I nodded.

I caught up to Carl in response, I walked beside him in silence.

"I should've protected her," Carl said.

"You protected Judith for a very long time, this was not your fault," I told him.

"Not just Ju- Not just her, but Katie too. Who knows where she is," He sighed.

"We'll find her, eventually," I said more to convince myself.

"We should've just left."

"Maybe, but we didn't, that's just not how things worked out."

"Maybe if my father wou-"

"This is not his fault, we fought for what was rightfully ours."

I looked behind me and Rick was falling farther behind.

"We should wait for him," I said softly.

"We gotta keep going," He replied.

"Carl, it is in our best interest to stay together," I stated. He stayed silent and I went back to help Rick walk. We made it to some bikers barbeque place.

"I'll go inside, you stay here," Rick said to Carl and I.

"Rick you can barely walk," I told him, walking inside. Carl and Rick argued for a moment, then they came inside too.

"Kitchen's clear," Rick stated, a man was behind a bunch of chairs... A walker man.

"Do you have your throwing knives?" Carl asked.

"Yeah," I tossed the knife, hitting the walker in the head, its body falling to the ground.

We tore the chair baracade down.

"See what you can find, then we'll move on," Rick commanded. Carl and I found pickles.

"I hope Katie's safe," Carl said.

"Me too, Maggie went to get her and Glenn," I said softly.

"I care about her, a lot," He stated.

"I know," I smiled slightly. We found chips too. Rick found bottled water.

Carl and Rick had some serious tension going on right now.

We walked until we found a house.

"This one is as good as any," I sighed. I hoped Maggie got Katie on that bus, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Not knowing where she was just scared me. I lost her..... again...

"I guess," Carl said, we made our way in and did a quick sweep of the house. Carl and Rick argued the whole time. So  I did a quick sweep of the house. As it got darker, Carl tied the door shut and I moved the couch in front of it so Rick could lay down.

"I tied the door shut," Carl said to me.

"We don't need to take any chances," Rick told him.

"What you don't think it will hold?" Carl asked.

"Carl, it's just an extra precaution, you can never be too sa-" I started.

"It's a strong knot, clove hitch. Shane taught me. Remember him?" Carl asked looking at Rick.
