A lot of time passed. The prison looked less like... A prison, chalk covered the walls, Katie was another year older, nearly a teenager. She was 12 almost 13. Daryl and I shared a cell, no we aren't together, but we had to make room for others. Katie bunked with a girl named Piper. Katie and Carl were still super close. Mason had gone off and made new friends. We had gardens and animals. Michonne spent a lot of time looking for the Governor. I was getting shaken. I pulled the cover up over my head and squeezed my eyes shut tighter trying to fall back asleep.

"Nooooo," I groaned.

"You gotta wake up some time, darlin," He chuckled.

"One more minute," I sighed. He yanked the blanket back, I looked at him, and he shook his head with a small smile.

He was wearing a black shirt, well since he ripped the sleeves off it's basically a tank top. His shirt didn't even try to hid the muscles that roped his body.

"We go through this every morning, I even let ya sleep in," He said. He woke me up, every. Single. Morning. To be fair, if he didn't I'd probably sleep the whole day away.

"What? A whole 30 seconds longer than normal?" I asked sarcastically, poking him in the side. I grabbed a pair of jeans and camo tank top.

He chuckled again softly, "Maybe."

He left while I changed. He waited for me and we walked to go get breakfast. It was deer, one that Daryl hunted down yesterday. People called out to Daryl as they were eating.

"Look at you, Mr. Popular," I laughed slightly.

"Don't even start," He muttered, I laughed again. We both grabbed some of the deer that Carol was cooking. I leaned against the pole while I ate. We stood and talked to Carol.

"You two need to see something, Patrick can you take over?" Carol asked.

"Yes ma'am," Patrick said kindly. He was one of Carl and Katie's friends. Just as we were about to follow Carol, Patrick spoke.

"Uh, Mr. Dixon. I just wanted to thank you for bringing that deer in yesterday. It was a real treat sir, and I'd be honored to shake your hand," Patrick said. I already finished eating. Daryl was still holding a bowl as Patrick stuck out his hand. Carol and I looked at each other, Daryl was about to be a major pain in the ass and we both knew it. Daryl licked all of his fingers and then slapped his hand into Patrick's and shook it. Patrick looked like it was the greatest thing in the world rather than be disgusted. Carol and I walked beside each other, Daryl behind us.

"Soo, how's you and Tanner?" I asked with a small smile. Carol's face turned bright red.

"It's.. going," She said, biting her bottom lip to try and stop herself from smiling.

"Just going huh? I see," Then we both laughed. They were together, officially. It was actually adorable. She basically took Mason in as her own.

Then we turned serious.

"I don't think we're going to be able to spare many people for the run," Carol said as we walked.

"That place is good to go, we're gonna move on it," Daryl stated.

"Yeah," She sighed as we rounded a corner and saw the fence. Walkers, a lot of walkers.

"Holy shit," I muttered, "I was just out there yesterday, is that all from last night?" I asked.

"Yep," Carol muttered, people were down at the fence, stabbing walker after walker, but more were still coming from the woods, "It's getting as bad as last month, they don't spread out anymore."
