'Just follow her, but be careful Lily. Activate your necklace as soon as she does something to you.' Lilac, watching the scene unfold in a place Marigold can't see gave instructions to Lily. She went to a place near her father. Lilac would've wanted to toy with Marigold a bit longer, but since there was an opportunity to deal with her right now, she'd be stupid if she didn't take the chance to.
Marigold led Lily to the kitchens with Lily being on edge. He was ready to bolt out as soon as something happens, but since his sister said that she will make sure that he'll be safe then, he will believe in her. To be honest, Lily was confused and scared. Yes, he was terrified of his aunt. Lilac probably knew, but she didn't explain it all in details to him. One things for sure is that he hated his Aunt Marigold and she had something to do in his mother's death, he was sure of it.
"Dearest Lily~ Your auntie made you something very special~" Marigold kept smiling, but Lily thought it was very creepy. Lily tried to refuse but Marigold kept pushing the bowl to his face.
"Lily~ You don't want it?~ You're hurting my feelings~"
"Lily~ Come to your aunty~"
"LILY! COME AND EAT THIS~!"
Marigold was at her breaking point already. The damn kid wouldn't budge. If there was a pebble in her way, what would Marigold do? Crush it of course. She was nice to him, but he wouldn't reciprocate her feelings. Grabbing the knife on the board, she had the resolve. Besides, she could just pin it on a maid, right?
When Lily saw the knife in Marigold's hands, he immediately ran towards the door. But he couldn't open it because the door was too heavy and he was just three. When Marigold saw this, she started laughing maniacally.
"Poor Lily~ Just like your mother, you'll die on my hands tonight~"
'Help' Bracing himself for his apparent doom, Lily send one last message to Lilac. Suddenly the doors opened.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!"
