Lilac had good reflexes thus has managed to avoid what should've been a fall. In front of her were three girls, blocking her way.

"I am terribly sorry! I did not see you there." The tallest girl, presumably the leader of their little group, did a curtsey. If not for Lilac being an expert at reading people and the fact that the child had good acting skills, she would say that the girl was truly sorry about it.

"It's fine, honestly. My name is Lilac Rosal, What are yours?" Lilac said with an amicable smile. The three girls expected her to cry after hearing  rumors that the girl in front of them was an unreasonable and spoilt one. Still, they wanted to intimidate her. Call it petty childishness or following what they've seen adult's do, they wanted to establish their power and prestige on someone before they would be too hard to handle.

"My name is Louise Armallo, the girls beside me are Caroline Verde and Coleen Verde." The eldest one introduced herself.  Lilac knew that the Armalloes didn't have a daughter her age, nor an older one so she assumed that this girl was from a branch family. She knew about the Verde twins though.

"A pleasure to meet you all, unfortunately I have to excuse myself since my brother is waiting for me over there. I, though, would want to talk to all of you sometime." Lilac curtseyed and left with a smile, leaving three baffled girls behind. She deliberately used words complex for her age in order for them to cease their rude thoughts and acted as to how an adult would act, a mature and calm temperament. Lilac wasn't an idiot, she knew that there were some unsavory rumors around her and her brother. She then went to the area where her brother and Iris were.

When the tree girls started to move away though, they all simultaneously tripped and fall flat into their faces. Lilac didn't miss the small rocks that suddenly grew from the ground and raised her eyebrows on Lily. Lily, however, just shrugged but Iris giggled after she saw the farce that just happened.

"I miss you Lilac." Iris said as she gave Lilac a hug.

Although the girls haven't seen each other for a long time, they sent letters and sometimes, Iris would visit the Rosal estate along with her father, who was one of Duke Rosal's close friends. At first, Lilac approached Iris because she wanted to use her for she was Duke Azul's only daughter, but overtime she grew fond of the little girl who had a lot of something in common with her. During those lonely months, only Iris was willing to visit her causing their relationship to deepen more.

The two girls continued to catch up and talked about random things. Lilac has long ago excused himself to play with a few boys from their father's circle, sons of military officials. As Lilac and Iris were engrossed in their own little world, Lilac didn't see someone behind her. Even though Iris saw what was about to happen, it was too late. The damage had already been done.

Someone bumped on Lilac, staining her dress and face with grape juice. Did she mention that the dress she was wearing for the night was in fact, very expensive? It was her cousin, Daisy.

"I- I-I'm so sorry!" The pinked haired girl was profusely bowing and looked like she was about to cry. When Lilac was about to say something, Daisy started to tear up and cry. More and more people started to gather around them, each one of them giving Lilac a nasty look. Lilac didn't care about what people thought of her, intentional or not her extremely expensive dress was still stained.

"What are you crying for? Please don't cry." While the pink haired kid was brawling her eyes off, the girl opposite of her remained unfazed and even tried to comfort the other girl. Lily got to Lilac and asked her what happened.

"Brother, my dress got ruined. I don't know what father would do. I heard the maids say that it's as expensive as a castle. now it is ruined." Lilac wept softly. The cute soft spoken girl's tears made the crowd feel a bit sorry for her. They all knew Duke Rosal was a fearsome man, but they didn't know the family's exact relationship, not when they haven't been in the eyes of the public for a long time.

Lily removed the wet patch and dried it off using magic and the dress looked good as new. He knew how much Lilac puts great importance and care towards her dresses. The crowd however was amazed at how a five year old has perfect control with not just one element, but two. Now they knew better to trust rumors.

"Who ever did this should pay for the damages!" He stared intently at Daisy, who stopped crying when she realized the crowd wasn't already paying attention to her.

"Brother she doesn't need to. Daisy is our cousin. Look you already fixed it already, see? Let's go brother I'm thirsty." Lilac dragged Lily to the table full of food in order to avoid trouble. Lily gave the pink haired girl a fierce glare before getting dragged by his sister. After that incident, the night passed peacefully.
