Song: Sing For You - EXO

''The way you cry, the way you smile, I wonder how much it means to me. The words I wanted to say, the words I missed. I'll confess, just listen and I'll sing for you.'

<LYRICS> Maybe Not Tomorrow

Good things don't always happen to us.
As long as you smile, it will be alright.
A brighter day will come,
but maybe not tomorrow.
Even if we part, it's fair to say,
I loved you in our times, I love you to this day.

Put your hand on my head,
tell me 'you'll be okay'.
Put your hand around me,
tell me 'just believe me'.
Put your hand in mine,
tell me 'everything's fine'.

I will believe you as you say,
I will believe you care, even if our time ends today.

Let's walk the streets a little longer,
let's enjoy our time together.
I'm happy, I'm smiling today.
Whatever comes tomorrow,
is not our trouble today.
Let it rain, let it storm,
you'll still be here if you really belong.

When tomorrow comes,
you might not be here.
I won't understand,
I'll be sad and broken.
When that happens, what can I do?

A brighter day will come,
but maybe not tomorrow.
As long as you smile, it will be alright.
Even if we part, I love you, I care for you.

"You wrote all of this last night?" Jason scanned my lyrics with an expression I couldn't quite comprehend. I fidgeted in my seat and answered him, "y-yeah. Why? What's wrong?"

Finally, Saturday came. I was occupying the same empty conference room in the office when Jason popped by randomly to check on me. Thank god I was just done with the lyrics so there was something to show him.

"I knew I hired the right person! The lyrics look really good." With a compliment, he carefully placed my music sheet on the table. I let out a breath of relief because I initially thought he was going to criticise it for the little time I invested in writing the lyrics. The stress soon washed away and my smile took over.

"Wait till you hear the melody! I personally like it a lot and I think you'll feel the same," I beamed excitedly.

"Okay, hold on, let me call Jongdae. I think he's free to come down today," Jason took out his cell phone and my eyes shot up to him. Why does he have to be here? And how does Jason know his schedule?

"Sure! T-Then I'll take my leave first okay?" I quickly picked up my brown coat lying beside me and got up from my chair.

"Are you rushing off to somewhere?" He asked me while still holding up his phone. "It's office hours."

Well...I'm not in a rush to anywhere.

I just wanted to avoid seeing Jongdae as much as I could.

"N-No..." I muttered softly. That was all I could say despite my desire to disappear.

"Then? Sit down, Rosie. I think now is a good time to finalise your work with your artist before we proceed with the song selection tomorrow."

"Selection?" I frowned, returning to my seat confused. I leaned forward with my elbows resting on the table.

"Right, I'm sorry. I think I haven't told you about the other new assistant composer, have I?"
