"Carol. You alright?" I asked.

"I should have stopped that Savior from Tobin sooner," she said softly.

"Don't. Don't do that to yourself. Tobin's death was not on you. Those assholes played a dirty game and they will pay for it. Now, since the two of you are here, there's something that you need to know," I said.

Carol looked up at me.

"What is it?" she asked.

"It's Henry. I thought what I had told him stuck but I guess I was wrong. He went into the pen we had the prisoners in and threatened them. They escaped and now we're not sure where he is," I said.

Carol stood up quickly.

"I told him...I told him what would happen if he didn't leave this be," she said.

"We shall scour the area for young Henry. He couldn't have gotten far," Ezekiel said.

He and Carol took off. I turned and bumped right into Daryl.

"I hate it when you do that," I said playfully hitting him on the arm.

"Sorry. You were gone for a while. Just wanted to make sure you were alright," he said.

"Tara is gonna be fine but...Henry has gone missing," I said.

"What? How the hell did that happen?" he asked.

"He went in to confront the prisoners and then most of them escaped," I said.

"Are you shitting me?" he retorted getting ready to storm off.

"Whoa. Relax, babe," I said grabbing his arm and holding him back.

"They couldn't have gotten far," he said.

"Daryl, they're gone. And if they're smart, they won't come back. But right now, we have to help here. There's bodies that need to be taken out of the house and people that need medical attention. I am not about to do all of that by myself," I said.

He relaxed his expression then sighed.

"You're right. I'm sorry," he said.

I went up to him and pressed our foreheads together.

"You don't have to be. We have to be on the same page from now on. I want our kid to know that we'll always be there for them. I'm with you no matter what but that doesn't mean I can't try to talk a little sense into you once in a while," I said leaning back to look at him.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer.

"Everything is clearer with you at me side," he said.

I leaned in and gave him a kiss that lingered for a few seconds.

"We better get to work otherwise we'll never get anything done," I managed to get out between breaths.

"I could stay right here with you forever," he said softly.

I smiled and moved his hair out of his face.

"I could too," I said.

We shared one more kiss before we headed back to the house hand-in-hand. We spent the next few hours moving the bodies of our fallen to where Glenn and Abraham were buried. I went around checking in on everyone. Making sure they had what they needed or if they needed anything else. The ones who suffered loss of limbs due to where they had gotten bit were being tended to. We were very lucky Carl had found Siddiq when he did. He was working wonders. Carl had been quiet after the whole incident. I pulled him over to the table Ezekiel and I had found Carol on.
