The rest of the afternoon was spent with food and laughs. There were a few toasts as well. All heartwarming stuff. Maggie's toast even got Daryl to shed a tear. It was a good night. As it was winding down, I had to see someone.

"I'll be back," I told Daryl.

"You good?" he asked.

"Yeah. I am," I said leaning over to kiss his cheek.

I headed over to our cemetery and took a seat by Sasha's grave. I sat there and gathered my thoughts.

"You should have seen it," I said after a few minutes of silence.

"Could you imagine Daryl in a tux? He'd look incredible without a doubt but I know he'd be extremely uncomfortable in the thing," I chuckled.

I took in deep breaths to keep me from breaking down.

"I missed you in there, you know. Maggie was the maid of honor. I would have probably had the both of you as my maids of honor. You would have made a beautiful one that's for sure. We're gonna make this right. For you and every other person we've lost to those assholes. I swear it. I love you, Sasha. Forever," I said.

I kissed my fingers then placed them on the mound. I sniffled and took in a few breaths. I stood up, wiped the dirt away and headed back to Daryl.

"Everything okay?" he asked once I took my seat beside him.

"Yeah. Everything's okay," I replied kissing him.

After a few more bites of food, Rick called us to attention.

"I'd just like to take this moment to talk openly with you all. Today was a good day. Yes, we suffered a lot of losses, but how we move forward is critical. We know what needs to be done. Maggie, King Ezekiel and I will discuss a plan that I've been thinking about since the Scavengers betrayed us. We get on the same page and that's how we win. I'm beyond grateful that I was able to witness my niece's nuptials. After all this is over, we will have more days and nights like this one. I'd like you all to go and try to get some rest. We've got a big day ahead of us. There is enough room for all of us here tonight. Whenever you all are ready, find one of the Alexandrians and they will help accommodate you. That is all. Have a good night," Rick said raising his glass to Daryl and me.

He, Maggie and King Ezekiel then headed to the church. A few more people came up to congratulate us before we were ready to head home.

"I'm gonna go stop by to see Michonne and Rosita. Wanna come along?" I asked Daryl.

"Sure, Mrs. Dixon," he replied.

"Mrs. Dixon. Funny how I'm quickly getting used to that," I said with a smile.

He grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you more," he retorted.

We got up and made our way over to the infirmary. When we got there, we weren't all that surprised to find the both of them sleeping. They deserved all the rest they could get.

"Come on. We'll see them first thing in the morning," I whispered.

Just as the both of us were about to head off, one of them started coughing. We both turned to see Rosita trying to sit up. I quickly went over to help her.

"Take it easy, Rosita," I said.

She slowly sat up. Daryl went and brought her some water.

"You okay?" I asked.

She took a few sips of water.

"Yeah. Sorry I missed the wedding," she said.

"You shouldn't be. You need your rest. That's far more important," I said.
