Beep! .... Beep! .... Beep!

The sound of the machine beeped as it measure your pulse. Nathan's head rest on the arm of one of the hospital's couches that was provided in the room. He sheepishly raised himself up and off the comfortable place and made his way towards the occupied bed. You were still soundly asleep even though you've been sleeping for 9 hours. Your chest heaved up and down like you were grasping for air, having a difficult time breathing.

Nathan pulled up a chair. His eyes trailing your frail body and up to your pale face. His hand reach out and brushed a long piece of hair away from your cheek, settling it behind your ears. Suddenly, your eyes fluttered open giving him a shock. You searched the ceiling that was unfamiliar to you. Before you could freak out, Nathan's voice reassured you that everything was fine. "Luna, are you ok?"

"Huh...?" Still a little bit lost, you turned and finally found Nathan's worried face. "Oh... Nathan. What are you doing here?"

He held your arm and pulled you in for a bone crushing hug. "Didn't you promise not to do anything to worry me again?!" His harsh tone was detect right away but you ignored it. "Nathan i'm fine... See?" You pulled back and did a little wave in front of your body to show him that nothing was wrong. "I'm perfectly ok."

He stared at you but pulled you back into his arms. "Perfectly ok my ass" He hissed in your ears and held you closer. You didn't mind the comfort and warmth that his chest was giving off and snuggle against it. "Were you here all night?" You whispered. You already guessed the answer by the clothes he was wearing yesterday but you just wanted to know for sure.

"Yea i was. I couldn't just leave you here by yourself." He said and glance at the glass window with the curtain wide open that he forgot to close yesterday. The sun was rising and the sky showed a beautiful pink-orange color. The chirping of birds were loud against his ears. "Hey i have an idea." He said and lifted you off the bed.

Your bare feet hit the cold floor. You gasp a bit and quickly slipped on the slippers that were provided by the hospital. Hand in hand, he slowly walked you towards the glass door to the balcony. With the help from him holding your IV, you successfully made it out without embarrassingly tripping and falling from your face.

You rubbed your eyes, trying to get use to the bright light. Nathan tapped your shoulder to get your attention and when he did, he point towards the sun rising in the horizon. "Wah~ It's beautiful" Your eyes gleamed and leaned on the railing.

"Yea... You are beautiful" He mumbled the last few words while staring at how the wind could easily pick up a strand of your hair without difficulties. He reached put and curled the long piece of hair behind your ear. Your neck turned to him and gave him a warm smile.

"You must be cold, here..." He pulled of the long sleeve jacket that he was wearing and draped it across your shoulder. "Thanks Nathan." You gratefully said. You could feel your breath quicken and the pounding in your chest picked up a faster pace like it would jump out of its place any moment.

The last thing you heard as you were falling down was Nathan's yelling your name over and over again. You could feel his tight hold around your body and his fingers delicately tapping on your cheek before you were completely surrounded by blackness.

"Hey Zane, where's Luna? I haven't seen her for a while." Jacob asked. Zane shrugged, got his lunch, and slammed his locker close. "Have you seen Nathan? I don't think he came today." Jacob continued questioning. He looked suspicious of the situation but only Zane knew what was going on.
