(Remember when we tried to define the unpopular opinions and the overrated/underrated things? Well, I'm kindly going to tell over here some of my personal unpopular opinions, more or less, which you can agree or disagree with.
It's not going to be a ton of those - I'm kind-of doing some periodically to fill some time untill finding a topic to cover for the next time.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Albania 2005 (the media up there) is a legit bop people seem to overlook;
- 2002 is probably up there among the worst Eurovision years up to date songs-wise;
- Cyprus 2008 is my winner of 2008, with Macedonia (or, nowadays as I heard, North Macedonia?) as a close second;
- 2004 wasn't THAT bad of a year;
- 2007 was such a great year but really messy distribution (especially regarding the semi-final);
- Morocco 1980 deserved that win, to be honest;
- Lithuania 2016 is my worst Eurovision entry of all time, after detroning Greece 2008 from its spot;
- Belarus 2014 is my winner of the year, ain't even sorry;
- Last time the actual winner from my top had actually won the entire contest was 11 years ago;
(Bonus: Kebab's top 2 was the actual top 2 in 2007.)- Andorra should've went in the final in 2007;
- Monaco & Andorra 2005 are such beautiful gems which are really overlooked too;
- (FYR or North, w/e) Macedonia 2004 needs more goddamn recognition, that song was amazing;
- Russia 2016 was over the top... in the wrong way though;
- My entire top 3 of 2013 (Montenegro, Israel & San Marino) deserved way better than they've got in the end;
- People saying that their favorites were in the top 5 or top 3 while in here my favorites failed to qualify since 2015 - gotta love this twist.
- I honestly enjoy myself some ballads, as long as they're good and performed well;
- Belarus 2018 is my last of the year;
- Bulgaria 2017 is extremely overrated and didn't deserve to get 2nd overall;
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I guess we'll keep it here for now.
