(With a secret project incoming, I didn't really have that much time to search a topic of mention or debate for this one. Therefore, the unpopular opinion part strikes again.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2018 was such a messy year for me in general, especially regarding the tops and all. But I had Georgia in my top 10 and Montenegro in my top 5 before the show, and I'm not regretting it one bit;
- I, personally, don't mind Australia as much as people seem to do, despite the contest being called Eurovision. But I've never been a major fan of them so far;
- Sweden has to ditch that app in Melodifestivalen, it only brought a multitude of robberies and another multitude of acts which should've stayed in the semis long go;
- Speaking of Sweden, can some countries stop calling Sweden for when it comes to producing the songs and stuff like that? I'd rather like to see some authenticity and uniqueness coming from people from the respective country;
(I'll probably rant more in detail for this one.)- Denmark 2000 is really good, I don't understand the hate???
- Luxembourg 1961 invented gay love, and that's not technically an unpopular opinion, but more of a fact. Plus, give it more love, it's really sweet;
- Greece 2008 is an abomination and I can live without hearing it ever again;
- Sweden 2012 is overrated;
- France 1991 was robbed for a victory, in all honesty;
- 2001 must be the weakest year ever in terms of songs and quality, and people's usual choice (that being 1999) wasn't THAT bad, at least it brought some great stuff;
- As much as I don't get the hype for Norway 2009, I'll be forever glad that it won over Iceland, because I honestly despise that one;
- (North) Macedonia is my favorite country in ESC, and I expect almost everytime for a good song from them;
(Except 2018, that song can rot in hell)- Armenia deserves to win Eurovision at least once in their lifetime because they deliver real good stuff, in comparison with other countries;
- Albania 2015 is dire and can also go and rot in hell;
- Slovakia didn't really deliver much when they returned, so I'm clearly not surprised that it kept on failing countless times;
- I'd want to see more minority languages represented on the stage of Eurovision, it would be amazing to hear more diversity coming from nations which often only go in English;
- Not only because it's atrocious, but Belgium 2007 has to be the cheesiest and most cliche song my ears were put to listen at;
- Yulia Samoylova deserved way better, and I feel Russia only sent her just to find a reason to mock her due to her vocally abilities;
