"Okay. The next one is going to be on the street coming up, to the right."
You flicked the turn signal on and prepared to turn, before spinning the wheel and speaking. "We are full blown adults now."
I laughed and nodded. "It's crazy. We're going to live together."
I glanced away from the map on my phone screen in time to see a smile light up your face. "We are."
I gave you the rest of the directions and finally, we found ourselves in front of a ginormous apartment building.
We got out of your car and made our way inside, and you took the lead, knowing that I wouldn't want to talk to the lady at the front desk. I absolutely hated talking to strangers.
You cleared your voice. "We're here to look at apartment 13B."
The woman, whose name tag read Bernice, stood up from her chair with a kind smile. "Ah! Follow me, I'll show you to the apartment. Rob, dear, can you take my place at the front for a minute?"
A plump, short man came out of the back door and sat where Bernice had been a few minutes ago. "Make it fast," he replied. "I'd like to finish my lunch."
Bernice smiled and nodded before leading us to the elevator. "He's a bit grumpy on Fridays," she explained to us as she pushed the button that would take us to our floor.
"Why?" you asked, "Don't people usually like Friday the most?"
"Robert is a bit different than most people. He doesn't like them because it's the last day of the week, he thinks that it's teasing him," and then, in a lower voice, "he doesn't even like cats."
I gasped, pretending to be super shocked when I was only surprised a little. "What kind of human us he?"
The elevator doors opened and we stepped out. "The heartless kind."
Bernice led us around the apartment, which had two rooms, the master with a closet, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a small room off to the side of the kitchen that Bernice said was usually used as a Breakfast nook.
You told me later that you were surprised by the quality since the price was super affordable.
When we made it back down to the first floor and Bernice was situated in her chair again, she spoke. "So, do you guys like it? You two seem fairly young to me, and I think it's the perfect place to start a family."
I looked over at you at the same time you looked at me. I shrugged, trying to play it off like I didn't really care, but I knew my smile gave it away as you turned back to a hopeful looking Bernice. "I think we'd love to put an application in."
Hey, guys! So sorry I didn't post as much, as usual, these past few days. I ended up getting a cat, my mom and grandma surprised me by letting me pick one out. (Basically, I went to my grandma's house, and my grandma asked me to go with her to pick out some new kittens. When we got there, my grandma got two and then told me to get one because my mother has said that I was allowed to. I love cats deeply if you're wondering why it's a big deal.) So I've been taking care of my new little Mila. Also, my cousin had his baby daughter, so I went to see her. All in all, I've been busy. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter! Also, if you were wondering, the two Main Characters are out of college now.

Teen Fiction"You know those super cliche' stories where there's that bad boy who meets the good girl?" I nodded and you went on. "Well, I'm kind of like the bad boy- just dialed down by about forty percent." "Well, you don't seem so bad to me," I replied. Som...
