"Hey, wake up."
I shifted a little but kept my eyes closed.
"Wake up, babe."
I just wanted to sleep.
"We're in Ireland and I love you," you tried this time, successfully getting me to open one eye.
"I love you, too," I answered, closing my eye again.
"What if I told you I was going out to get breakfast?"
Both my eyes flew open, landing on the smirk sitting on your lips. "Then I'd tell you to let me get dressed."
Fifteen minutes later, we were heading into a little hole-in-the-wall diner that looked like it might serve good food.
We ordered and then waited in a corner booth, not saying much. I mostly looked out the window, and I could feel your eyes on me as I admired the sights. I tried ignoring the way your stare made me feel, but I couldn't take it any longer and I looked over at you, raising an eyebrow. "Like what you see?"
You smiled. "Very much," and a waitress sat our food down in front of us. I waited for her to leave before continuing the conversation.
"I look gross. I literally woke up, like, twenty minutes ago."
"You're beautiful."
"I'm not wearing makeup."
"Still a total smokeshow," you insisted, and I laughed, taking a bite of the food in front of me.
"You're a liar," I said, swallowing the bite.
You waited for me to look you in the eyes before you answered. "I will never lie to you."
"How do I know that that isn't a lie?" I asked.
You sighed, taking a bite out of your food, chewing, and then swallowing before answering. "You'll just have to trust me, I guess."
I rolled my eyes. "That's such a 'you' answer. And I do trust you. I just don't think you can tell me that you won't ever lie to me. There will be plenty of reasons to lie to each other, things we wouldn't be able to get mad at the other person for lying about. Like when I told you I wanted to eat pizza for supper but I was lying because I knew you really wanted to."
You dropped the fork. "You lied about that?"
I nodded. "Absolutely. But you can't get mad at me for trying to make you happy, can you?"
"I guess not," you mumbled.
Soon, we finished eating and you paid, then we were on our way to do whatever plans you had for the rest of the day.
Going to upload the next chapter as soon as this is finished publishing, so I recommend reading it because it gets good!
Also, just want to say that I could potentially finish this book today if all I did was write. I think I'll publish this next chapter and then write as much as I can before uploading everything. I only have to write 17 more chapters ya'll!

Teen Fiction"You know those super cliche' stories where there's that bad boy who meets the good girl?" I nodded and you went on. "Well, I'm kind of like the bad boy- just dialed down by about forty percent." "Well, you don't seem so bad to me," I replied. Som...
