Third Person's Pov

'Where the hell did Romanov go?' were the thoughts of Kage.

Somehow and somewhere along the way, her lycan mate was no longer with them. Now she felt even more uncomfortable being left alone with the boy but she didn't show it.

The little boy, Tommy, was still holding onto her hand and dragging her. Kage noticed that less people were being seen as they hurried along.

Soon enough she started to realize where she was being lead. It was the more secluded part of the village which is also close to the clearing she had ran across from before. She could also pick up on a metallic scent that reminded her of blood, even though it's faint.

Her eyes narrowed at her surroundings, a question popping into her head. 'How did they even end up here? His grandmother should've known that it's not safe to come to this part of the village.'

Her attention refocused back on the little boy. Her odd colored orbs narrowed down on him.

Feeling her stare burning into the back of his head, Tommy tilted his head to look at her. His silver-gray orbs burning into hers.

Kage internally squeaked, doing her best to not avert her eyes elsewhere.

'He's just a kid. Nothing to be jumpy about.'

About to tell him to hurry along, she caught a glimpse of a totally calm and relaxed expression with mischief swirling in his eyes.

'He calmed down way too quickly. That's not a face suited for this fucking situation. Hell... this isn't even the act of a little who witnessed a damn wolf attacking his grandmother!'

Wanting to confront him and demand answers for his behavior, Kage was about to drag her hand back when he suddenly tugged sharply with a strength that was not of a little human boy.

He turned her body to face an alley between two abandoned brick buildings. Immediately that metallic smell of blood she detected earlier was stronger.

She looked down at Tommy to see new and sudden tears streaming down his face. But frighteningly he did not seem scared or sad at all.

He seemed eager for the hybrid to enter the dark and eerie-like alleyway with the occasional little push in her lower back.

This observation made her raise a brow. Gears turning in her head, things clicking into place as she put two and two together.

Her lips setting into a grim line. She stared down at the little boy with hard eyes. 'Tommy' began to feel nervous.

"Aren't you going to help grandma?" He asked in a broken tone.

It was obviously fake.

She didn't answer. She simply took her hand from his and started walking into the alleyway, not caring whether he followed or not. Thoughts were swarming into her head and to see if what she figured out was right. Playing along with this will confirm it.

She also definitely thought of her lycan mate. For him to be separated from her was surely planned. But why? How?

How did he/she or they succeeded in that? She only hoped that he finds her soon.
