A Lycan's Hybrid Mate

Chapter 53

A sudden huge ass lightning bolt struck Abbadōn, sending him flying off the platform and crashing into multiple trees.

Immediately the three royalties could breathe again and the life in Kage's eyes fully returned before it faded completely. She gasped for air as if she was drowning.

The black smoke disappeared and the dark purple clouds receded, making the moonlight shine throughout the forest once more and clearly outlining the new group of individuals charging their way down the nearby hill towards the clearing.

Kage was still a bit out of it but sighed in relief nonetheless when she could feel the slight pull of the mate bond. She didn't bother to look up or even make a move for that matter. Her body was weak from literally knocking at death's door just a minute ago.

Unlike her though, Lucy watched as the lycan royals with six powerful vampires and a witch among them, drew closer at an alarming rate. Her heart leaped in joy when she spotted her mate, Luke.

The leader, Archer growled when he saw the Floros heir. He gently grabbed Lucy's left elbow, tugging her closer to the platform.

"Shift!" Archer commanded, "Don't hold back! Lilura! Put up a barrier and send the rest, now!"

On command the rogues and lycans shifted, roaring and snarling while the vampires hissed, baring their fangs and raising their varieties of swords. All started charging forward, feeling especially confident that their great numbers of hundreds will easily defeat the measly 25 individuals. Most thought that the families should have brought their armies with them.

Hmph, the fools.

Where was the need to bring their armies when they themselves were weapons of mass destruction? Besides, this war was personal.

As the matter of fact, this wasn't about to be a war. This, my friends, was going to be a fucking cold-blooded massacre.

With the exception of Rin, Rose and Zeuxis, all of the other lycans plus THEE vampire council (which consisted of six very powerful vampires) were there; Werewolf Adam and the witch (Althea) included of course. Those 25 would be enough to take the entire hundreds of enemies down.

Why?

Because now was the perfect opportunity, the moment they could finally go all out.

They didn't have a choice. They needed to use their superior strengths and abilities to defeat this awfully large number of enemies.

But they also had to take into consideration of the human village that was not too far from there either. So they might not be able to go all ALL out, but at least somewhat close if necessary. However, they weren't worried about Kage and the others getting harmed. They just knew that they'd be alright.

Right before they clashed with Archer's army they glanced at each other and nodded. It was time to carry out the plan.

Just like before, the ice twins wasted no time in appearing at the front and mercilessly freezing a great quantity of the enemy that were already too close.

They then took a big leap into the air, their bodies transformed into a half shift as they soared through the air. With a mighty great roar from the two, deadly ice shards expelled violently from their bodies, impaling the entire frontline of the enemy.
