Third Person's Pov

Something was going to happen.

He could feel it in his gut.

But did that stop him from having his breakfast?

Hell no.

He continued to eat despite the ominous silence.

That was what filled up the dining area around the dining table. And around that table sat four figures while the other two figures stood to the side waiting for orders.

The four figures were Romanov, Kage, Angel and of course the King, Xavier, himself.

After Mariana returned to the palace she had received quite a scolding from her mate and has childishly locked herself in the their room. Since then she hasn't come out.

Xavier thought to himself that he had been through enough bullshit for this morning and has also waited long enough to have his breakfast.

He just wanted to sit and eat in peace before he carried on with the day's duties.

However, just earlier, during the middle of his meal, the sudden commotion upstairs resonated throughout the building and right then and there Xavier knew he would have to kiss peace and quiet goodbye.

Romanov has brought Kage downstairs to eat some food while Angel huffed and stomped along, refusing to leave.

Xavier sat at his usual place at the table. Kage was at his right and beside her sat Romanov. And of course Angel sat next to him making the Argyris Prince seated between the two females.

Now just imagine how Xavier felt at this very moment witnessing Angel desperately but silently trying to get his son's attention while the said boy ignored her, only giving his hybrid mate his full interest as he ate.

Obviously the two figures to the side were no other than Rin and Sebastian.

Rin was silently grinning at the scene before her and every time she saw little miss bitch (Angel) put a hand on her young master's shoulder Rin would glare deadly daggers at her but would soon smirk when she sees him shrug her hand off.

Sebastian was just watching in amusement with a deadpan.

Angel would be sending poisonous glares over to Kage who also paid no mind to her, only minding her own business as she sipped on her orange juice. Angel took this as a opportunity to scrutinize this hybrid that has claimed to be Romanov's mate. She wanted to know what was it she had that made Romanov decided to ignore her.

She noticed the girl had curly dark brown shoulder length hair. She rolled her eyes taking a sip of her sparkling mineral water.

She was mentally bragging about having prettier and longer hair.

Angel glanced at the hyrid again then quietly scoffed. She had much lighter and more flawless skin. She was pretty sure that hers were also softer.

The girl sipped her water once more.

'I'm also sure I have prettier eyes too' she thought confidently.

An idea popped into her head to get the hybrid girl to face her.

As she sipped on her water once more she turned her head to glance at Kage, not expecting a glaring set of light hot pink eyes to meet her own light blue ones.
