I looked over at the green fields, where basketball matches were usually held. Usually nature helps me in clearing my mind, that's the reason I decided to step out of the stuffy cafeteria. Growing up as an only child made me a shy, nerdy girl who liked being left alone most of the time but I didn't mind having a few good friends. I was bad at socializing in person but if I was given a piece of paper or a laptop, I'd be happy writing letters or chatting with any person. I was so good with writing down my feelings than talking about them.
I could almost hear my mum's voice in my head.
"Darling, you must learn to be verbal and a bit open since you are going to a new country and you are to meet new people. You must try to be friendly and not be in a corner hiding because you are afraid of socializing and new people. There's nothing wrong with you. You are an amazing girl with a great personality. If people really know you, you will be a fun person to hang out with. Be more courageous and brave!"
I sighed. "Mum, I'm trying. I am."
I missed my mum, she was like my best friend but I remembered I had Ria here. Ria too was like my mum.
I took a deep breath and replayed the events of the past few days. After a few moments of reminiscing, I decided to let the past go. I reminded myself that I could handle with anything and I didn't need Adrian all the time. I had to show Allison and Rhea that pushing Adrian off did not stress me much because then maybe, I might be able to be friends with Adrian again.
"What would Allison and Rhea possibly do to me to make my life miserable?" I thought to myself.
"They could humiliate me, bully me, spread rumours and make sure no one will become my friend." I thought.
All these stuff were scaring me but I wasn't going to act all paranoid. I had to build a hard exterior and be a bit closed off. I hope that would work. I also had to trust my friends to be there for me and I had to make sure they wouldn't get into trouble.
I decided to put up a new post in my blog since I hadn't blogged for a long time.
Believing in yourself.
As a high school student, we would have to face many problems. High school isn't a joy ride at all. There are many occasions we feel like giving up but I suggest my fellow, suffering high schoolers not to give up because life is all about facing problems in your own stride no matter how bad they are or how much they hurt you.
The problem most of us face is bullying. I know there are many stuff going up about protecting yourself from bullying. Most of the victims are scared to tell anyone and they keep their mouths shut. Well, my dear victims of bullying, if you don't have the courage to stand up for yourself...you can try to do so anonymously so no one will know it's you! That way you can help us curb bullying!
Then there comes the nasty rumours. Those who have been the subject of a false rumour knows how hard it is to make people not believe it. If people don't believe you, just leave them to believe whatever they want to believe because at least 0.1% people don't believe in rumours and make yourself happy knowing that! One day, truth will come out...so be patient until that day!
There are more problems, a high school student faces but just remember to believe in yourself and have a hard exterior! If you lose faith in yourself, chances are no one will believe you and stand up for you. First, have faith in yourself and then by your strength, people will rally around you and you will be a STAR!
So...my dear netizens....have fun and believe in yourself!

I posted my post and I was happy with it. I loved blogging. It was like my personal diary. I just had to apply those stuff to my life too.
The bell rang indicating the end of lunch period. I smiled. Being out helped me clear my mind. I know I could suppress my temper and my emotions. I just have to defend myself.
I went to the cafeteria and Anna, Frannie, Hayley, Rocy and Michelle rushed over towards me.
"Are you ok now?" Michelle asked concerned.
"Yeah guys, I'm good. Being outside did me good." I smiled.
"Thank god, I thought you were going to bawl your eyes out." Roxy said teasingly.
"Oh shut up Roxy!" I retorted playfully.
"Okay, then gotta go to class. C'mon Belle!" Hayley said grabbing my arm.
"Bye!" I called out to Roxy and Michelle as Anna, Frannie, Hayley and I were heading towards Geography.
