Ch 27

After Social Studies, I had a free period. I was on my way to the library when I nearly bumped into somebody. I looked up to chastise the person for appearing out of nowhere but as I looked up, all words I was to say, died down as my fists clenched in annoyance and frustration.

"What do you want, Fox?" I asked in a tired voice.

"Hello to you, Wingley." Rhea spat out sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes. This girl was impossible. Seriously, how many times will I have to tell her and Allison to stop their foolishness? I wasn't that low of a girl to grab a boy who is already in a relationship. "You know what Fox, you need a chill pill." I said to her.

Rhea clenched her jaw "Wingley, you better stop fooling around with me."

I raised an eyebrow "Chill girl. I am not going to take Adrian. I have my own reputation and respect."

Rhea let out a humorless laugh "Oh yeah, what reputation and respect? The reputation and respect of a nerd?"

"Yeah." I answered humorlessly. I was tired of Allison and Rhea coming up and threatening me.

"Here nerd," Rhea flicked my forehead. "How many times will I have to tell you to stay away?"

I straightened myself and narrowed my eyes "Rhea Fox, I think I clearly told Allison Grey that sending her minions to fight for her is an act of cowardice. I thought Allison took the message clearly. If she didn't, tell her sending her minions won't work on me. She should come directly and challenge me."

Rhea looked taken aback but quickly composed herself "Oh, so you think I am a minion of Allison's? Well, listen up, I am not fighting for Allison. I am fighting for me!"

I blinked. So, Rhea and Allison both wanted Adrian? I was confused. "So, you both want Adrian?"

"Yes, little bitch. That's true." Rhea snorted.

I facepalmed myself. This was like a soap opera. I never thought I would have gotten caught into one. "You know what Rhea? You are accusing me of something you are doing yourself."

"Huh?" Rhea looked confused.

"Adrian and Allison are in a relationship. I can totally get Allison's jealousy. Adrian is her boyfriend but you, you want Adrian for yourself. You are trying to make Adrian yours when he is already taken. You are accusing me of trying to make Adrian mine while I have no intention to do so." I informed her.

Rhea's facial expression turned grim "Nice work, Little Miss. Detective. So, you get what I want. Just keep away from Adrian and you won't have to deal with me. I am sick of dealing with two people. You and Allison. If you get out of the picture, it will be easy for me to deal with Allison."

I looked at her disgusted. Sure, I thought Allison and Rhea were bad but Rhea to stoop so low to steal her best friend's boyfriend? I totally didn't see that coming. "Rhea, you make me sick. How can you do this to Allison? She's your best friend. Stealing someone's boyfriend is so disgusting."

Rhea shrugged "You know what? I don't care what you think. I will get what I want no matter what I have to do in order to gain it. Allison is not in your good books, so why are you defending her?"

"It doesn't matter whether she is my enemy or friend. She is a girl too like me and I hate dishonesty and disloyalty. You are going to hurt your best friend for a boy? It's so low." I shook my head, angrily.

"Like I said before, Rhea Fox gets what she wants no matter what she has to do in order to gain it. Do yourself a favour and keep your pathetic self out of my business. I can see you will not heed my warnings, so just look out." Rhea's voice was dripping with venom, I however didn't let that get into me.
