If I ever thought my life would be easy because unlike I had feared it was only Rhea who was bullying me, not Rhea and Allison but I couldn't have been more wrong. Rhea was evil....pure evil. She wasn't kidding when she said she'd do anything at any cost because if events right now were no proof for that, I don't know what else can prove her words.
Since Halloween was a few days ahead, the whole school was being decorated and the school management were pleased to announce classes after lunch would be free one week until Halloween. Well, the special reason for this was our school was having a Halloween Ball with another neighbouring school, Firetree High.
It was one day like this a few days before Halloween, we were decorating the gym. Freshmen and juniors were given a chance to decorate the gym whilst seniors and sophomores decorated the other parts of the school. Juniors and freshmen too decorated the other parts of the school but we mostly did the gym. The whole junior and freshmen class members weren't decorating the gym because honestly we had lots of students and we did need that many students to decorate the gym. Some were doing the decor in other places.
My friends and I with the exception of Roxy, who was a senior, were cutting out various ghosts, pumpkins and what not from cardboard and regiform. It was quite fun and scary because whenever we went to the store room to get something, we would encounter something scary. Blame it on the teachers and our Principal. I guess, they thought scaring students out of their wits was funny. Adults think in a strange way....
"Alright, so this witch is done. So, I should hand it over to Kris to paint it?" Hayley asked looking at her cut out life size witch.
"It won't be necessary. You can pain this, Hayley, the way you want. Remember to make it scary though." Kris, a blonde haired junior with grey eyes and a kind face, told Hayley.
Hayley looked at Kris, excitement visible in her eyes "Really Kris?"
"Haha yes. Just make it scary and it'll be fine. I have lots of work on my hands. It would be nice if you could paint your cut outs. Uh....Michelle, please help her. You guys can pain the cutouts Belle, Frannie and Anna make." Kris told us, in a stern tone though there was a smile on her face.
"Aye Aye Captain!" We mock-saluted her.
Kris rolled her eyes and ruffled our hair and went off.
"My poor hair!" Anna said, in mock annoyance as she smoothed her strawberry blonde hair.
"Whatever Anna. So, we'll cut and Michelle and you paint, yeah?" I looked at Hayley and Michelle for confirmation.
Hayley nodded her head whilst Michelle said "You got it right, Belle. Frannie? Anna? Got it?"
Frannie and Anna nodded "Yup, Ma'am."
They ducked smartly as Michelle attempted a swipe at their heads.
"Alright guy! Let's get to work now, we have a load to work on!" Hayley said authoritatively.
We chuckled but agreed with her nevertheless.
As we were concentrating only on our work we didn't realize Hayley was looking at an image in her phone as she painted the witch until Hayley squealed excitedly.
"What?!" Michelle jumped as we all did.
With all this scary and festive aura around us, we were a bit jumpy.
"Look at my painting!!!!" Hayley squealed excitedly.
I took one look at the painting and my eyes widened. I am sure it happened to all of us.
"Is this who I think it is?" Frannie sounded like she was strangled, I am sure it was because she was keeping her giggles at bay.
"Hayley, you really didn't....did you...I mean...this..uh *cough* *cough*" Anna was coughing after unsuccessfully smothering her giggles.
