"What the hell did you think you were doing, Rhea?" Allison's tone seemed calm, but her demeanor didn't seem so. Adrian was gripping her shoulders, as though keeping her from lunging towards someone.
"Hello to you too Allison." Rhea grinned cheekily, then she added, tilting her head "Come again, I am sure I didn't hear what you said correctly."
Allison took a deep breath "WHAT-THE-HELL-DID-YOU-THINK-YOU-WERE-DOING?" She paused and gritted her teeth after each word.
Rhea seemed unfazed. A small smile was on her face. "Oh me? Well, I just came out before classes start. It's not illegal for me to get fresh air, is it?"
Allison clenched her fists, her face looked murderous "Seriously Rhea? CAN YOU BE SERIOUS FOR ONE DAMN MINUTE?!"
We all jumped out of our skins when we head her shout out loud. I looked over at Adrian, who grimaced. I am sure his ear drums would've blasted.
Rhea rolled her eyes "Fine. Calm down. I am serious. What do you want?"
I could see that Allison's patience was wearing thin. It kind of looked comical to see one girl, who looked calm and had a don't- care-ish aura around her whilst the other one was pinned in place by her boyfriend and she looked really contrasting to the other one. She looked really mad and was emitting a rather angry aura.
"I SAID, WHAT-THE-HELL-DID-YOU-THINK-YOU-WERE-DOING?" Allison barked out.
"Hmmm...I answered that already...didn't you hear it?" Rhea said coolly
"DAMMIT!" Allison screamed and we jumped.
That girl had a really loud voice. I felt sorry for Adrian who grimaced again.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? ARE YOU FREAKING MAD?" Rhea shouted, looking mad. Her calm and cool demeanor had gone in seconds.
"No. I am not. I WILL BE IF YOU CONTINUE LIKE THIS, FILTHY OLD PIECE OF RAG!" Allison shouted at the end.
I tried not to laugh at her insult. It seemed like most of us were trying to.
"Filthy old piece of rag?" Anna asked bewildered.
"I know!" Frannie squealed.
Rhea had a murderous look on her face now. "WHO DID YOU CALL A FILTHY OLD PIECE OF RAG? ME?"
"IF YOU ARE RHEA CONSTELLA FOX, THEN YES, I MEANT YOU! GOT A PROBLEM?" Allison shouted back.
I looked at them nervously. Both of them were looking utterly barking mad. I was afraid that the next moment they would throw punches at each other.
"YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING? FINE, I'LL GIVE YOU YOUR ANSWER, YOU WORTHLESS TWIT!" Rhea glared at Allison and Allison glared back.
All the student gasped. Two inseparable best friends, who live to make people's life a hell are now shouting insults at each other? What was the world coming to?
"Then, spill!" Allison demanded, calmly.
"I was looking out for you. YOU! I drenched Belle in beverages because of YOU! I insulted Belle today because of YOU! When I look out for you, this is how you repay me, your best friend since primary school?" Rhea spat out, vehemantly.
There was a pin drop silence one second, the next, we heard a loud slap echo. We looked at Rhea and Allison bemused. Allison had slapped Rhea. On the cheek.
I was sure my eyes and ears were conjuring stuff up. There was ABSOLUTELY no way Allison would slap Rhea. I was about to ask Hayley if this really happened but Hayley beat me to it.
