Monday finally rolled over. Internally I winced at the thought of meeting all the people at the party and talking to my friends. I hadn't communicated to anyone at school since Friday night. I had spent time doing my homework and reflecting on how to face the highschool community. I hadn't actually found a solution to that but I decided to put a brave front and face the school. After all, I wasn't a meek timid girl.

"Will you be ok, sweetie?" Ria asked, looking worried and concerned, as we reached the highschool.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." I assured her.

"Hmmmm....if you say so. Remember, not to do anything regretful and no to let those idotic pepole get to to you." Ria said, sternly.

I smiled at her and nodded "Love you, Ria."

"Love you too, sweetie. Take care." Ria kissed me on my forehead and I stepped out of the car.

I walked up to the school. When people saw me, they became quiet suddenly and there were whispers and snickers whilst some threw sympathetic looks in my direction.

I flipped my braid and started walking towards the doors. The doors opened and there came a certain grey eyed blonde with a smirk. She was wearing a pink spaghetti strap top, with a white jacket over it and blue three quarter jeans. She was flanked by some of her friends. They too were wearing smirks on their faces. I recognized some of them from the 'beverage attack' on Friday night.

Rhea was walking towards me, I walked towards her. All students had stopped whispering and snickering at looked at both of us walking towards each other. I could feel the tension and excitement in the air.

Rhea stopped a few feet in front of me, I too stopped a few feet in front of her.

"Look who has decided to show up today. Did you like the beverage bath you had on Friday? You certainly looked nice that day." Rhea chortled.

Her friends started laughing too. I looked at them amused.

"What? Cat got your tongue, Wingley?" Rhea asked me as I hadn't responded for a minute.

"Nope. I didn't see any cat here and even if I had, it certainly couldn't have climbed all the way to take my tongue away. I was merely waiting for you all to finish your laughing fit." I told, in an amused tone.

Rhe and her friends sobered up.

"Looks like you all are real impatient to here me talk. Gosh, I feel so important. Firstly, I would like to point out that whatever Rhea said wasn't funny enough to make anyone laugh. Actually, no sane people would laugh at it-" I was interrupted by an irritated brunette.

"So, are you trying to imply that we are insane?" The brunette sounded annoyed.

"Oh no! I didn't mean that, ma'am." I said in a fake dramatic tone, shaking my head wildly. "I didn't imply that you were insane. I never meant it anyway. I just said no sane person would laugh at it but then, some sane people laugh at anything. Anyway, if you think you are insane, I am sure a psychiatrist would be happy to help you." I paused, smiling at the brunette, who glowered.

"The next thing is, I did very much enjoy the 'beverage bath', thank you for asking. Actually it was a surprise to be attacked with beverages at once but it was truly enjoyable. In India, during 'Holi' festival, we are attacked with coloured water and powders. So, I guess in America, people pour beverages on each other. It was quite fun, we must do it again. I thought you didn't want to be friendly with me, Rhea but it's nice to know you decided to make me more familiarized with American party culture. There's 10 minutes for the bell to ring and if you have nothing to say, please let me be on my way. It's nice meeting you but I need to meet my other friends too." I said, smiling as I shoved Rhea with my shoulders and walked towards the doors.

Rhea and her friends looked shocked, even the students on the grounds looked shocked.

I could feel the stare of everyone but I didn't mind being in the spotlight for once. I saw Anna, Belle, Roxy, Michelle, and Frannie looking at me, shocked.

I smiled and waved "Hello girls!"

"B-Belle?" Roxy looked astonished.

"Yup, I am Belle. Don't say you forgot me!" I said, feigning hurt.

"You were awesome!" Anna attacked me with a hug.

"I couldn't believe you talked like that to Rhea. So, confident and so...oh my!!!! I can't even describe how you faced her like that." Hayley said, awed.

"You left her gobsmacked! Good for her!" Michelle laughed.

"I enjoyed that moment. It was nice to see her like that! Her face was priceless." I chuckled.

"Annabelle Wingley, you are full of surprises!" Frannie said, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Of course! Look out, I might dress up as a clown the next time!" I said, faking seriousness.

My friends chortled at that. I loved my sarcastic side, it made me stand up for myself! I just hoped Rhea wouldn't trouble me more.

“Hey look, isn’t that Adrian striding over to Rhea?” Anna quipped looking over my shoulder.

I turned over to see Allison and Adrian stride over to Rhea. Allison looked furious, Adrian looked confused whilst Rhea looked really annoyed.

“Hey, let’s get closer, so we can hear them!” suggested Michelle and we stepped closer.
