"Good morning children!" Mrs. Winston said as she entered the Drama Room.

"Good morning, Mrs. Winston!" We chorused back.

"So, I am really glad about your drama. It was great! The audience liked it very much. The drama couldn't have been done beautifully if not for a talented cast and a dedicated crew. I am so glad you, freshman are setting the bar higher for next year's performance. With the charity event and the drama, you showed our whole school that you guys will make the school proud of you one day. I am so honoured to have had such a talented and dedicated class." Mrs. Winston paused as she looked at all of us, smiling.

I couldn't help but feel warm and happy all over. I looked at the others too and they were all having warm smiles on their faces. Happy was an understatement, I was overjoyed. I didn't just direct the drama well, but also I managed to challenge Allison. I might be able to be friends again with Adrian! Just thinking of it made my smile bigger.

"So, I decided to give you all a treat. I was thinking of taking you out on Saturday, for a small tour of this city. Just ask your parents today and get this permission form signed and hand it over to me tomorrow. Come to school at 9 a.m. on Saturday." Mrs. Winston said, grinning at our shocked faces.

We are going out for a treat? Wow! I am soooo going for this!

"Um, miss?" Jordan raised his hand.

"Yes?" Mrs. Winston looked at him, questioningly.

"What are we to wear?" Jordan asked.

"Hmmm, good question. Wear anything casual and comfortable." Mrs. Winston informed us.

"Miss, what time will we come back?" Asked Maria.

"At about 6.00 in the evening." Mrs. Winston replied. "Any more questions?"

All of us looked at each other and shook our heads.

"Alright then. So, here's the permission letter." Mrs. Winston said handing each of us a A5 paper.

I took mine and read it.

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Mrs. Veronica Winston- Teacher- In- Charge of Drama, Ridgewood High School

"Wow!" I exclaimed to Michelle.

"Obviously!" Michelle grins.

"Well, I think you all must have read it. So, bring your cameras and have fun. You can bring a friend along, if you want." Mrs. Winston beamed at us.

The whole classroom turned into a place filled with excited chatter. All of us were excited and impatient. I turned to Michelle.

"Michelle, who are you going to bring alone?" I asked her.

Michelle thought for a while "I got to ask the girls, Hayley and all. What about you?"

"Same here!" I chuckled.

I put my books away. It was lunch now, after that I had Homeroom and I was going to start brainstorming for ideas on the next chapter of my book in Wattpad 'Letting Go' during Homeroom.
