Memories

So many questions running in my mind.
I don't know how many answers could I find.
Why is it so easy to kill our happiness,
But so hard to kill our sadness?
Why is it so easy to let go,
But so hard to move on?
Why do the people we love
Often come and go so fast?
Oh, I remember.
Nothing really lasts.
Everything's temporary.
Things, people, feelings,
Even the things we thought was permanent.
Wherein at the end, we will just wake up in reality.
The reality that everything was just a dream,
That everything was unreal,
That everything just made you believe was real.
But, it was all a lie.
It was all a lie.
A lie that keeps you believing,
A lie that causes your happiness,
A lie that takes away your sadness,
A lie that hides the truth.
But, the truth is
They're just fooling you,
They're just using you,
They're just playing tricks on you,
They're not real, they're fake
They don't like you, they hate you.
They act normal infront of you
But, act like a demon behind you.
But, why did you believe?
Why did you believed?
They need you.
They just need you.
That's why they act so nice infront of you.
That's why they act like they love you.
Because they need you!
They need you to become just like you,
They need you to become what they are not,
They need you to feed their insecurities.
And as time flies, they'll overpower you.
They'll make you feel so small,
They'll make you feel like they're bigger than you,
They'll make you feel like they're better than you.
And slowly, they'll feed on your weaknesses.
They'll feed on your fears.
They'll be happy
While, you're being lonely.
Because that's what they want.
They want to see you suffering
While, they are enjoying.
They want to see you fall apart
While, they are celebrating.
And you? You have been blind!
They seemed to be nice
But, you don't realise
That they are stepping on you.
God!
Never let someone step on you,
Never let someone destroy you,
Never let someone belittle you,
Never let someone stop you from doing what you love,
Never let someone tear you apart,
Never let someone affect you,
Never let someone fool you,
And never ever let someone
Come to your life
And leave like nothing ever happened.
Don't let them leave without saying anything.
Because the worst goodbyes
Are the ones unexplained.

Are the ones unexpected.
But, after all
We've had so much memories.
Yeah, there are the bad ones.
But, there are also good ones.
So, I'm still thankful.
