We waited twenty minutes and I started to get bored so I went on my phone. I followed Kayla on Instagram and looked at her most recent picture. It was one of me and her with a really long caption. It said 'Ava. You are and have been my best friend for four years. Now that I'm in NYC I don't want that to change. My Dad is really close with yours so it won't be hard to organise things. I just hope one day we will live in he same state again. I miss you and hope to see you again. If you see this DM me. I love you and you were the best sister figure ever. Happy 14th birthday - Kayla x' Wait. Happy birthday? I looked at the date and realised it was the 29th of December. My birthday.
A few minutes later Brendon and the members of Fall Out Boy and All Time Low walked in with a cake and a guitar case. Everyone started singing happy birthday and I was really confused. I blew out the candles and everyone clapped.
"I'm gonna put this in the kitchen. Happy birthday Ava." Pete said as he left. Brendon handed me the guitar case and I opened it.
"No way. A 2003 American Deluxe Stratocaster. This is my literal dream guitar. How did you know?" I asked.
"Kayla, Zoey and Jack. So thank them." Brendon replied. "Okay. So Ava this is Alex, Rian-"
"Jack and Zack. I already know."
"She's literally wearing our merch." Alex said pointing to my jacket. I nodded and Kenny handed me an aux cable for my guitar. "Okay. We're gonna let you practice and do your stuff. See you later." I waved goodbye and they left the room. I handed Brendon my guitar and fell off my seat. Brendon and Kenny just laughed while I was in severe pain.
"Ow!" I said slightly sarcastically.
"What happened?" Brendon asked.
"I stubbed my toe!"
"You'll be fine."
"Wow. Thanks for the love and support father figure."
"Are you going to get up off the floor?"
I paused. "No." He handed me my guitar and I tested it out. "This is the best guitar I've ever tried out. Thanks Bren." He knelt down and hugged me.
-time skip- (the meeting)
"Okay so if we're gonna pitch this idea to Mike we need some notes or some details. For example will it be one stage or multiple stages, rough set times, how many bands and who they'd be. All things like this." Pete mentioned. "Anyone?"
"I made a lot of notes and stuff if you want them." I mentioned. "Do you want me to explain them? It might take a while."
"Sure. Go ahead."
"Okay. So I was thinking. It'll be like an FBR warped tour. With three stages. We'll organise it so that the bigger bands aren't on at the same time. But there is one band that's not signed to FBR that I think should come on this tour."
"Does that band happen to have a former Panic! Band member?" Brendon asked.
"Maybe." I replied.
"Does that mean you want Dallon and Ryan on this tour?"
"Maybe."
"Can you describe this show in one sentence?" Pete asked.
"Um..." I paused to think. "A multi stage, perfectly timed, emo band extravaganza."
"Good enough. I think that's the end of this meeting."
-time skip-
"I'm gonna go wait downstairs." I told Brendon grabbing my stuff.
"Okay. Be careful. Don't let any of the other band members kidnap you." He replied laughing. I rolled my eyes and went down to the reception area.
I sat down at one of the tables, got my laptop out and decided to do some homework. "Hey is this seat taken?" Pete asked me.
