The Time That Harley Broke My heart

kayla and i both got outside and went straight over to mina. "kayla, mina. mina, kayla." i said before sitting down.

"ava. what's up?" mina asked.

"nothing. harley just casually slammed me against the door then gave me a lecture about damien."

"ooh. nah. he brought up the ex." kayla added. "that's harsh." i looked over at harley and noticed something.

"what the fuck?" i muttered. i stood up and walked away from kayla and mina. "harley get over here right now." he rolled his eyes and walked over. i grabbed his wrists and looked at the ink on his wrists. "is this what you did in florida before we left for tour?"

"yeah." he replied.

"why? what do they mean?" one was in korean and the other was roman numerals.

"you can read that one." he gestured towards the korean so i turned it around to read it.

"usuhan jeom. perfection?"

"yeah. now what are those numbers?"

"031229. my birthday? harley why did you get my birthday tattooed onto you."

"because you're my best friend and always will be."

"i- i don't even know what to say. i feel special."

"you are special." he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. "i love you."

"i love you too." we pulled apart and i went and sat back down. "so what were we talking about again?"

"how harsh harley was." mina added. "what were you talking about?"

"he got tattoo's." i mentioned.

"how?"

"he went to florida and the age there is 16."

"wow. what are they?"

"perfection in korean and my birthday."

"so he basically called you perfect?" kayla asked.

"i didn't really think of it like that actually." i replied.

"he's totally into you."

"he just got cheated on. plus i know harley. he doesn't move on that quick."

"maybe he's not moving on. maybe he never stopped liking you."

"well. we both lost the chance so oh well." i looked over at harley who was laughing and joking around with doyoung, jack and junkyu. "hold on. i wanna go be cute with him. when i go over to him, once we're in the pool together, put one of our songs on."

"will do." mina replied. i got up from where i was and dived into the pool next to harley. when i came up i was face to chest with him and he smiled down at me. the song started playing and he shot his head towards mina who smiled and waved, as if she was making fun of him. i laughed and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. we swam over to the edge and kayla handed me my phone. i took a selfie and he scrunched up his nose, putting his chin on my head. "you guys should kiss!"

his head shot up and i snapped a picture of his mad face. i turned to look up at him and he looked down at me. kayla took my phone and he dived under the water. he put my legs over his shoulders and stood up so i was on his shoulders. i let out a squeal of surprise and everyone laughed at me.

i was sunbathing with mina when harley got out of the pool. he lay down next to me and rubbed his wet hair all over my face. "harley!" i exclaimed. he laughed and dried himself off then lay down next to me again. he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and stole one of my earphones.
