We went out for ice-cream and I decided to be antisocial. I put one earphone in and listened to pray for the wicked. "What you listening to?" Brendon asked.

"Pray For The Wicked." I replied spooning more cookie dough ice-cream in my mouth.

"What song?"

"One of the drunks."

"What's your favourite?" Pete asked.

"This one and Roaring 20s." I replied.

"Cool." We finished our ice-creams and went back to the car. "I'll see you guys later."

"Bye Pete."

"Bye little Urie."

"And the nicknames begin."

"Bye Pete." Brendon added. They hugged and Brendon dragged me into the hug. "See you for the second meeting tomorrow."

"Have fun playing angry birds." I mentioned. He laughed and I got in the car. They continued to talk for a bit so I decided to listen in.

"She's been really quiet. When I met her yesterday she was much louder." Brendon mentioned.

"She hardly said anything to me. I think she's just nervous. Like when you met me. And Obama." Pete replied.

"Did you just compare yourself to Obama?"

"Maybe I did."

"Wow."

"She'll do better in a few days. Don't worry. Just initial nerves plus her anxiety. It'll get better."

"Yeah. Probably." I closed my door quietly and put my earphones back in. Brendon got back in the car and I hugged him. "What was that for?"

"Calming me down back at FBR. If you hadn't have done that and Pete didn't end the meeting I wouldn't be smiling right now. I would probably be sobbing or passed out." I explained. "So thank you."

"That was nothing." He replied. "But you're welcome." He hugged back and then we went home.

It wasn't that far from FBR to the house. Maybe about ten minutes. Quicker than my school from my foster home.

"So we haven't gone home yet have we?" Brendon asked as we pulled into the driveway.

"Nope." I replied taking my earphones out.

"Let's go then." He turned the car off and I grabbed my suitcase and bass from the back. He opened the door and Bogart jumped up. "Hello. Hello." Brendon picked Bogart up and Bogart licked his face. "I missed you. I did. I missed you."

"You and puppies. Is just adorable." He laughed and put Bogart down.

"I'll show you to your room." He went upstairs with my suitcase so I followed him. "This is your new room. It's pretty empty. We can go shopping tomorrow after the meeting if you want. For now just unpack and- Wait do you need an amp? I have a spare one. Wait here. I'll go get it." He left and came back with a Fender amplifier. "One amplifier for the new Urie."

"Thank you. For everything. For the amp. For the room. For adopting me. Fuck it. Thank you for existing." I hugged him tight and started crying.

"Hey. Hey. Sh. What's wrong." He rubbed my back soothingly but I continued to cry. "Sh. Ava tell me?"

"I get adopted by you. Then I meet Pete and he actually cares. I don't deserve this. I don't deserve any of this. I'm just the anxious suicidal kid that sits alone in the music room singing sad songs."

"Ava. You're not just that kid. You're talented and beautiful and smart. You're amazing and I love you for who you are. But if your suicidal you need to talk to someone. Probably Pete since he's been there but I don't mind talking either."
