Thomas's P.O.V.
We just posted the musical Crofters episode. It was fun, pretending to be Logan and finally sing. Imagine if all the sides were real, how would they actually react?
I chuckle at the thought, heading upstairs. I'm still dressed as Virgil, eyeshadow and all. I'm glad that he's more of a part of the group, he really is a good guy. There were also some hate comments on the videos before he was accepted for treating him badly.
I shake my head, no need to think of that right now. Unfortunately, right as I shake my head I get a massive headache, and I hear a loud bang. My vision goes blurry, and I black out.
~Time skip~
When I wake up my headache is gone, but I vaguely see figures moving around. I bolt into a sitting position.
"Hey, being anxious is my job." Says one of them. That sounds like... "Yep. You're still dressed a me by the way."
"Hello there!"
"Greetings."
"Hi there kiddo!"
The three others speak at the same time.
"You... You're real? How?!" I'm so confused.
"Well I give you the ideas for videos based on things that have actually happened, though the scripts are obviously a little different than what really happened." Roman says, stepping forwards.
"I am just as confused as you are Thomas, and that's saying something." Logan says, adjusting his glasses.
"This is probably a lot to handle. Let's give him a moment kiddos." Patton says, fixing his cardigan.
My phone dings and I check the text message. It's from Joan.
We'll be over in a few minutes to help you make dinner again. Don't start without us, we don't want to arrive to a burnt down building.
I smile at that, then look back up.
"How am I going to explain to them?" I ask, concerned about their reactions. Virgil curls in on himself a bit.
"Be upfront and honest. Say something along the lines of 'I have something to tell you. M-" Logan gets cut off.
"Make sure they promise not to freak out." Virgil cuts in, then shrinks away when I look at him.
"...yes, I suppose that would be a good idea. Then continue with something like 'My sides are real.' If they are disbelieving you could always summon us. That was another idea that is very much real." Logan continues after a second.
I open my mouth to respond but am cut off by someone knocking at my front door. Everyone jumps and I rush downstairs.
"Hide!" I whisper shout at them, and they all get in my closet. I open the door.
"... Are you okay Thomas?" Talyn asks.
"Yeah! Why wouldn't I be? Why, am I acting strangely?" I quickly say, way too cheery. I hear a small groan from the closet. I look back and apparently so did Joan and Talyn.
"Thomas, don't lie to us, we can tell. We did a whole video on you lying to me, remember?" Joan says, though cautiously, as if afraid I'll lash out or something.
"How could I forget? You guys helped me so much on that video, and it took a long time to make." I say, calmer than before. Wait, or these sides are real, does that mean-
"You called?" Even though I was expecting him, I still jump. Well this is one way to tell them. I groan, putting my head in my hands.
"Is that Deceit?!" Talyn screams, jumping about five feet backwards. I nod, head still in my hands.
"Why didn't you tell us before?" Joan asks, and the closet opens. Virgil darts out ahead of the others, but shrinks away from Joan and Talyn.
"Because I found out about five seconds before I got that text. I was planning on telling you, but Deceit showed up. Sorry for making you hide in a closet, I panicked." I address my sides with the last sentence.
"It's okay. Just don't do it again." Surprisingly it's Virgil who speaks, he seemed to be the most panicked about the closet, come to think of it be probably has claustrophobia, which only makes me feel more guilty.
"Okay, we'll deal with this later. For now, let's just make some dinner."
