Chapter 34
Passing down through me, I couldn't help but give her short glimpses. She wasn't aware that there's obviously two people staring at her—for too long. Technically, she didn't care about it, or maybe she just act it out. How could she just think that I didn't know her?
Or did she knew that I was the girl she interacted with a year ago? She maybe did. But what is she doing here? I felt something when the two of them—her and Gabriel meet there eyes for quite long and all I see was sadness. Pure sadness.
She sat down as she fixed her glasses and put it in her face. I was impressed that she have the guts to face him without doubts. She looks at him so strong as if they already knew each other for quite long.
The class started and all was going well. Actually, I thought it'll be a hard time for me to concentrate because there's a newbie also that is chased among the girls. Perks of being hot.
I heard murmurs when I came out of the room because when I walk out, I look at my side and saw the new guy. A smile flashed through his face before he could be completely gone.
What's wrong with that guy? He looked at me like he was talking to me—visually. His eyes was eager with something. No, not something. Someone.
I walked down the halls and saw Gabriel and Cynwise on their lockers, talking. Obviously, their lockers is just inches away. That explains why they really have a lot of time to talk.
I was looking at them intently when Gabriel looked at me. He did. Really.
My hands were trembling with too much force! I felt too hot that he'll probably think I was embarrassed because he saw me looking at them. His eyes was still staring at me until I passed them but Cynwise notice where Gabriel's eyes located.
She smiled at me. "Hi, Vasilka."
I just waved my hand before I left them but Cynwise's face appeared in front of me.
Panting, she held my shoulders like she was really eager to tell me something.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I'll be having a welcome party l-later. Dinner actually. Kinda old style right? But, I really hope you'll come. Really." She stutter. I removed her hands in my shoulder and held it.
"Don't worry, I'll come." I assured her.
"T-thank you." She lowered her head.
Guilt suddenly corrupt me.
"Hey. Do you think inviting my friends over will be okay?" I hope she'll agree.
She lift her head, shocked.
"R-really?" Joy in her voice was heard.
"Yes." She shriek and hugged me tight, but when she knew that it was too tight, she then, move away from me. Apparently, she was too far from me.
I gestured her to come close and she just slowly walk at me gently with her hands at the back.
"When will be it?"
"At six. I'll just fetch you." She said.
"No, it's okay. Our house is really complicated for you to come—"
"I know where you live." She simply said.
"What?"
"See you at six!" She just shouted before she waved her hands and turn her back away from me.
