Chapter 35

I hesitated upon taking his hands, but the mere fact to have this slight touch with him, wild imaginations gathered, attacked my head until I notice his face slightly confused. I was actually looking at him for too long---checking him out, rather. I couldn't take my eyes away from him.

His young beautiful face is dashing as ever. With his V-neck long sleeves, folded three inches below his elbow, it became more presentable, just as the folded line mattered too. Why is he wearing this comfy clothing all of the sudden? As much as I try to remember, proper clothes are used to be his liking. He had this affection between proper and liberated clothes. He's not that open with it. Which is, his clothes.

Why am I talking about his choice of clothing, anyway? As much as I want to talk about him for about a long paragraph, I'll just set that pysche attitude of mine, as for now.

Is he part of the party too? Obviously he is.

I offer my hand to his. "You're acting weird." I sounded weird, but as much as possible, I make it sound like he was the weirder one, not me.

"Just a right time to maneuver possible things that could happen, again." He replied.

Was he saying that he's trying to take a move on Cynwise? Try to restrain yourself, Vas. This time is for Cynwise, not yours.

"O-ohh." I stutter.

He moved a bit a pat the vacant seat beside him. I walked slowly towards him while he's just staring at me.

It took for about fifteen minutes when we arrived at Cynwise's place. I looked over at Gabriel at my side, looking at his phone, headphones in his ears as I saw him playing games. Won't he have seizure while playing games, with the car moving?

"We're here." Cynwise announces in the shotgun seat. I was still confused when she didn't sat here at the back. Well, it's her choice.

I notice Gabriel moved while I was checking my phone.

Me:

Where you at? We're already here.

Athans:

Who fetch you?

Me:

The girl I mentioned you about.

My eyebrow raised when I felt like my nape burning. And it was really burning. By the looks Gabriel gave me, I remembered the time he asked me if I remembered something, just like what he looked right now—sad, guilt, and pity.

I looked over at him.

"What?" I sounded irritated.

"Who are you texting?" He asked.

"My friend. I just told him we just arrive so that they can come too—" He cut me off.

"Him? It's a boy right?" He sounded like it was a big deal. He just a friend! Why would he act this way?

I rolled my eyes. "Yes."

I stood up, heading to the door but he stopped me. Now our faces our inches away. I could smell his minty scent here. Smelled like a fresh, mint, aroma smelled mouth. His hair was washed, clearly, it was too smelly, a one of a kind that most manly Man use.

"Let's talk later." He said, seriously.

I don't know but I felt anger. Maybe it's because maybe he's just using me for Cynwise or Shantel? Basically, those two girls adored him. Just by the look of their eyes, I can see it.
