"Audino!" I yelled as my Pokémon fell to the ground.

Rena smiled on the other side of the battlefield as her Hydreigon flew a few feet in front of her, towering ten feet above us. It had been a few years since I'd battled, and even then, battling was never for fun. I batted to keep Unova safe. This was pretty much my first official battle against anyone.

We agreed on a two on two battle, being that I knew nothing about Musharna's attacks. I'd figure that out later. Seeing that she started out with her strongest Pokémon, I decided to go with Audino because he could Mega-Evolve.

Unfortunately, even with Mega-Evolution, Audino was somehow under a huge disadvantage against Hydreigon.

This only meant one thing. Rena's smile brightened as she realized this as well.

"Swanna," I yelled as I threw my trusted Pokémon out, "fly me up high for a Sky Battle."

The blue haired girl followed my lead as she leapt on to her Hydreigon. Somehow, the Rheas had managed to build a training room, which was basically a Pokémon battlefield on a larger scale. On two of the walls, there were these ledges that Trainers could stand on to battle in the sky.

Back when I first started as Swanna Girl, I had countless battles up here, usually with Rudi and Rena. Landon only battled his son, claiming it would be unfair to me if he battled, unfair as Rudi's Braviary used to be his Pokémon. Landon knew how Braviary battled, meaning he could challenge Rudi in that sense.

I realized the last time I had a Sky Battle with anyone, it was with my very first Swanna. I remembered being humiliated by Rudi the first time we battled, returning my Pokémon back to her Pokéball well before the battle should've been over. During the rematch, I made sure to fight until the very end.

Just like I intended to do now.

"Swanna, use Ice Beam!" I yelled.

An Ice Beam attack should have been very effective against a Dragon-type. That much I knew. However, knowing Rena, typing didn't matter. She'd find a way around it. I just had to be ready for it.

"Counter it with Flamethrower!" Rena yelled.

Predictable, although, the last time I remembered, Hydreigon only knew Fire Fang. This was new.

The moves collided together, but being that this was a Fire-type move, the Ice Beam melted under the pressure, moving closer and closer to Swanna.

"Deflect it with Protect!" I yelled.

It wasn't like Swanna needed to protect himself, but I knew Rena, meaning I had to come up with the follow up attack fast.

When the Flamethrower hit Swanna, his protective shield had come up. As that happened, I whispered my next attack. Swanna nodded his head before quickly moving out of the way.
