(DPOV)

Roza and I, as well as all of our family and friends. Were standing around the dais in the center of the throne room at court talking and just enjoying each other's company. When out of nowhere I heard a gunshot ring out. A gunshot that would, unbeknownst to me at the time, change my life forever.

The bullet from that gunshot hit my wife square in the chest. I saw her jerk from the impact of the bullet and start to collapse. As I watched my wife start to sink towards the floor I did several things all at one time.

The first thing that I did was barley catching my wife just before she hit the floor.

The second thing that I did was look towards where the shot came from. And there before my eyes stood Tasha Ozera, unsurprisingly, with a smoking gun in her hand. And a crazed look in her eyes with a matching smile on her face.

She had just shot my Roza, my soul mate, the love and light of my life, my wife. The woman that I intended to spend the rest of my forever with. And yet the chertovski suka was smiling!!! (fucking bitch)

As I knelt on the ground with my Roza's head and entire upper torso in my lap. I saw Tasha's body jerk as she was riddled with bullets. Her smiled faded as soon as she was hit with the first bullet, which came from Abe's gun.

"Dimka?!!" She cried out as she reached out for me after she was hit with the first bullet. Did she really think that I would even make an attempt to help or save her after what she'd just done?!!! She'd just shot my soul mate for trakhayetsya sake!! (fucks)

Looking around I saw Abe, Pavel, Sergei, Eddie, Hans Croft and another dozen or so guardians continuing to fire at her. They all emptied their magazines into her flailing body, which was far less than what the suka deserved. (bitch)

The third thing that I did was with tears of pain and grief running down my face I lifted my wife into my arms. And ran like the hounds of hell were right on my heels all the way to the hospital. Where the woman I loved more than life itself was promptly whisked into what, I hoped and prayed, would be lifesaving surgery. As badly as he wanted to Addie couldn't heal her until they got the bullet out.

Two hours later Rhonda, the court seer, was brought into the waiting room area of the emergency room by her nephew Ambrose. Who was also a friend of my Roza's.

"Dimitri you can save Rose. But you can't do it by sitting here waiting for her to die."

"What do you mean Rhonda?! My Roza isn't going to die!!! She can't die!!! She can't leave me!!! I won't let her leave me!!!" By the end of my tirade I had started wailing.

"Dimitri you have to calm down there is a way to save Rose. But the only way to save her is by going back in time. And it has to be done right now. If you wait until she dies we won't be able to change it."

"I won't let her die I won't let her leave me!!!"

"Then you have to calm down and start using your head. Push your fear to the side and listen to what I am telling you."

Getting a death grip on my fear I nodded, "ok, ok. You said that I could save my Roza, but is time travel even possible?"

"Yes, our young witch Lady Ivashkov can send you back in time. But you have to go within the next two hours. Because Rose will make it out of surgery but she won't last the night."

At her words my grip on my emotions faltered and I came crashing to the floor on my knees, all while I was sobbing hysterically. I couldn't lose my Roza I just could not lose her. If I did I knew as sure as I was breathing that I would lose my mind and follow her into death soon afterwards.
