(I KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT THE WAY I SAID I WAS GOING TO DO THIS, BUT I CHANGED MY MIND. TODAY I AM UPDATING PART THREE AND ON VALENTINE'S DAY I WILL BE UPLOADING THE FINAL PART OF THIS STORY. I HOPE THAT TODAY'S UPDATE COMES AS A NICE SUPRIZE. AS FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND ME, PHYSICALLY. I HOPE THAT YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL AND ARE SAFE AND HEALTHY. THERE ARE MASSIVE TORNADOES ALL AROUND THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS. SO I AM PRAYING THAT YOU ALL ARE ALL SAFE AND THAT YOU HAVEN'T LOST ANYONE OR ANYTHING. THE LAST I HEARD THERE ARE OVER 60 MILLION PEOPLE, JUST IN MISSISSIPPI, THAT ARE OUT OF POWER. SO I PRAY THAT YOU ARE ALL, ALL RIGHT. AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. I HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY THE THIRD INSTALLMENT.)
I let go of Adrian and turned towards the door jerking it open and almost pulling it from the wall, as I took off running. I didn't stick around to see which one, if any, of them would be following me. I needed to get to my wife.
I ran through the doors of the emergency room and saw a nurse standing by.
"My wife?!! Where is my Roza?!!!"
"She is still in the ICU your majesty, just like when you left earlier." This poor nurse looked startled at my approach and the fact that I pretty much just yelled at her. But I didn't have the time to apologize, I needed to get to my wife's side right now.
I wanted to ask her about that 'your majesty' comment but I didn't have nor take the time to do so. I turned around and started to run in the direction of where the nurse had pointed. After that I followed the signs until I burst through the doors of the Intensive Care Unit.
I stopped at the nurses desk briefly. "My wife, where is my wife?!!"
"Three doors down on the right your majesty." This poor nurse looked confused at my question.
Again, with the 'your majesty', but again I paid it no mind as I turned and ran down the hallway.
Just before I got to the room that the nurse pointed out to me, I heard, "Uncle Dimka!!"
I turned and saw a little five year old girl that I didn't recognize. But I knew the woman standing behind her, it was my older sister Sonja.
"Who... who is this Sonja?"
"Dimka, it's my daughter, your niece Katya. What's wrong with you?"
Just then I heard someone run up behind me. "He's never met her cousin. Remember, we were going to swap places with our Dimka and the one from another timeline."
My sister gasped, "it worked."
"I am sorry Sonja, but I have to see my Roza."
"I understand Dimka. Go, we will talk later."
I paid no heed to anyone else or what they said as I made my way the very short distance to my Roza's hospital room. Standing just outside the room I looked through the window at the woman I loved more than my own life.
"Oh Roza, detka what happened to you? Who did this to you?" I whispered as tears started running down my face. (baby)
I quietly reached out and opened the door of my Roza's room, walked inside and sat down in a chair by lyubov' moya bedside. (my loves)
I reached out and took my Roza's hand in my own and brought it to my lips. She was so cold to the touch and paler than a strigoi.
"Oh, Roza. I'm sorry detka, I am sooo sorry, I waisted so much time trying to pretend that I don't love you. I am sorry detka; I should have told you, just as soon as I realized, that I love you. I'm sorry, I am sooo sorry lyubov' moya." I sobbed. I broke down in great big heart wrenching sobs as I held lyubov' moya hand in my own. (baby, baby, my love, my loves)
