Chapter 26

"Dimitri is my cousin. So, as a Ivashkov when he and Rose get married, and yes I did say when they get married. We will all be having a massive royal wedding. Anyone questioning the when comment, all you need to do is look at Rose's hand to see what I mean."

Everyone turned and looked at my Roza's promise ring, when she held her hand up for them all to see, they cheered and applauded. Now it was my turn to be shy about people knowing who I really was. But overjoyed and thrilled because of everyone's reaction to Roza and I being together.

"Anyone else have any announcements?" Roza asked happily.

"I have another one actually." Addie answered with a massive face splitting grin.

"The beautiful and beguiling, Ms. Sydney Sage here, has agreed to being my girlfriend." Again, the room erupted with the cheers.

"Well I had one, but since Addie made it for me. I guess I'll just sit here quietly and eat my food." I laughed. Addie just gave a shit eating grin and everyone else laughed again.

"I also have an announcement." Eddie said once everyone quieted and calmed back down. He looked to my Roza.

"Mia and I are dating."

Roza actually squealed this time while bouncing up and down in her chair. She was sooo cute sometimes. Most of the time she is so mature that I forget that she is still only seventeen years old in this timeline. So on the rare occasion that she actually acts her age it throws me for a little bit of a loop sometimes.

The rest of the night was spent in celebration for the two new couples. As well as the revelation of who Roza and I really are and that we were going to get married.

"So, Rose, does your being a royal mean that you will need guardians when you graduate?" Mason asked.

Lyubov' moya turned and looked at Abe who nodded. (my love)

"I guess I will. Dimitri is my guardian while we are still here. After graduation I have no idea what is going to happen."

"Would you mind if I were to volunteer?" Mason asked.

"No of course not, I would be very deeply honored."

"Well, you are my baby sister and you did save all of us in Spokane. Even if you did it by not letting me back in to help. So, I think that it's my turn to protect and save you."

Roza's eyes slipped to mine and I tightened my grip on her hand. I knew that she was thinking about what I told her had happened in Spokane the last time.

"I agree with Mase. I would also like to volunteer to be one of your guardians as well." Eddie joined.

"I am deeply honored both of you. I don't really know how the whole guardian thing works from this side." She turned to Abe. "Baba?"

"Would you like the two of them as two of your guardians kiz?"

"Yes, I would like that very much actually. They are my brothers and I do not want to see my family ripped apart, just because we are graduating from the academy and going out into the real world."

"Then so be it. Is there anyone else that would like to volunteer? Since she is the future queen she will need at least half a dozen guardians between graduation and the time that she's crowned."

I was not shocked in the least when every guardian at the table other than Pavel and Sergei raised their hands. But I could see that my Roza was.

"Well, it looks like you have your guardian squad kizim."
