IN CELEBRATION OF LABOR DAY I AM UPDATING AN EXTRA CHAPTER OF ALL OF MY STORIES.

"I'm not sure yet."

"Why, what's going on?"

"Dresden."

"Where?!" He suddenly sounded fierce, worried and very protective. That simple seven letter word, had him about ready to jump over the moon, and all for his little girl.

"St. Vladimir's Academy, Montana."

"I'll be there, in less than thirteen hours." Without saying another word, he hung up. I guess that means, that it is time to talk to Alberta.

I made my way to the office of the head guardian of St. Vladimir's Academy, Guardian Alberta Petrova. Taking a deep breath, I knocked on her door.

"Come in." I heard her say, through the heavy oak door.

I opened the door, and walked in.

"Alberta, can I talk to you?"

"Of course, Dimitri, come in and have a seat."

I sat down, and took another deep breath, before I began. I began with, "I don't really know how, to start a conversation like this."

"Is this about Rose?"

"Yes."

"Is she alright?"

"For now."

"Alright, just tell me what's going on."

"I am from the future..." I saw her give me a look, asking me if I was crazy. And I held up my hands. "Just let me finish, and you will hopefully believe and understand."

She motioned for me to continue, as she leaned back in her chair, fingers tented underneath her chin.

"A little over an hour ago, I swapped places with the Dimitri that is originally from this timeline. So now, he is in my timeline as I am in his, and he probably thinks that he has lost his mind. In the timeline that I originally come from, in almost a month's time. You found me, sitting on the side of the fountain, looking up at Roza's window..."

"Who is Roza?"

"Roza, is the Russian nickname for Rose."

"Ah, ok, please continue."

"It won't happen now of course, because I have already changed that, by coming to you now. But in my timeline, when you found me there. You told me, that if I would let Roza in, and show her just how much that I truly love her, that she would be alright. I, however, was too hard headed stubborn and just all around stupid, so I of course didn't listen. Which screwed up, both mine and Roza's lives, terribly. But, you told me, about you and Art Schonberg. You told me how, that even though there are ten years between the two of you. And that he was a guardian, and you were training to become a guardian. That he was your mentor actually, that you have loved each other, since you were a novice. That still to this day, when you can get time off together, you meet somewhere."

She looked stunned.

"Just before I left my timeline, you also told me, that if you didn't believe me after telling you that. To tell you the story, of Roza's first birthday, here at the academy."

"What did I tell you?"

"You said, that Janine left Roza here, three days before her fifth birthday. That Roza did not even know, that she was even about to have a birthday. And that you only found out, because you looked at her records. When you found out, that she was about to turn five, you asked her what she wanted for her birthday. And as most little girls do, she told you that she wanted a pony."
