Lissa had communicated with Roza through the bond telling her about the shopping trip. She still thought that my Roza would have to depend on her for money. The incredibly stupid and spoiled little suka.
Abe had already sent Roza a black credit card with an unlimited credit line and her name on it. As well as sending me one just like it with my name on it. With a note attached to them telling us to spend as much as we wanted. Saying that we could spend a million dollars a week and not even make a dent in Roza's or my trust funds.
I don't know why, but it shocked me that he had opened a trust fund for me. It really shouldn't have shocked me though. Because Abe had helped me a lot throughout my life. Especially when it came to Randall and helping protect and provide for my family.
Regardless of what some people thought Abe was a good and caring man. A very good man in fact. He was just very selective about who he showed that side of himself to. Just like my Roza and I, Abe had a façade in place. One that taken years of cultivation to get it just the way he wanted it, again just like my love and I.
One of the biggest reasons that he was so caring for my family is because he and ma'am had been friends for over thirty years. And apparently, Abe's great grandfather had been a friend of my great grandfather. Babushka told me a few years ago, from my timeline, that Abe's great grandfather and my great grandfather had gone to the academy in Romania together. They had apparently been best friends since early childhood. Just like our grandfathers had been just as close as our great grandfathers.
It shocked me at the time that my family history and Roza's were so tightly and intricately interwoven. And yet we both had to come to America before we could meet and fall in love.
I had a feeling that Abe was actually sending more than half of my pay to my family. Just the rest of it from himself without any of us ever knowing the difference. That would be just the type of thing that he would do.
While we were at the mall I was always right on my Roza's heels, at all times. Lissa however, paid so much attention to what was going on around her. That she didn't even notice that I was actually following Roza instead of her.
She just took it for granted that myself, Roza or someone else was and always would be there to keep her safe. But that was most of the royals for you. They almost all thought that they were more important than everyone else. And they took it for granted that everyone agreed with them, about the royals being more important than any of our other people.
Eventually, the girls made their way to the same store where Roza found her dress the last time. After she'd picked out that same dress, God help me. Some new lingerie, that made me hard just thinking about it, to wear with her dress. Some new shoes and a clutch then they went to pay.
"Put your stuff up here Rose so I can pay for it." Lissa pretty much demanded.
"No thanks, I can get it."
"What? How? I always pay for your stuff." She sounded disappointed.
"Alberta gave me a card connected to the account that my mom apparently set up when she left me at the academy."
I had to admit, it was a good lie. It was the best lie that we could come up with, on such short notice anyway. Neither one of us were good at lying, at least not to each other, nor were we accustomed to having to do so.
A slightly upset Lissa asked, "what do you mean?"
"My mom apparently set up an account to where two hundred dollars a month. Would be direct deposited into a separate account just in case I needed anything. So, for the last twelve years two hundred dollars a month went into the account. I guess she forgot about it because even while we were on the run the deposits were still being made."
