Chapter 36

Roza waited for everyone to come to terms with what she'd just said before she continued.

"Yes, this orospu is going to die an agonizingly slow and torturously painful death." Abe threatened. But we all knew that he was in fact deadly serious. (bitch)

There was one thing that you did not do if you wanted to keep living and doing well. And that was that you do not mistreat, hurt or even threaten Abe 'Zmey' Mazur Badica's little girl. That would get you killed a hell of a lot quicker than you could blink.

Roza continued her story. "And I am not the only one that she's done this too, although she was successful with the others. The only reason that she was unsuccessful with me is because you cannot compel a shadow kissed person. Or if you can she couldn't compel me for some reason."

"You can't be compelled Roza. It is impossible to compel someone who is shadow kissed."

Everyone sat around the room in shock for a long time, before Tatiana spoke once again.

"How many others have there been?"

"She has been doing it since about three years after she first started working here. She waited until then because she wanted to be secure in her position here and get a 'lay of the land' so to speak. So, there are hundreds of victims here and they are not just novices either. There are novices past and present, guardians also past and present, as well as moroi royal and non-royal, again past and present."

"Wait, wait, wait so what you're saying is that she has been doing this for twelve of the fifteen years that she's been here?! That she has done this to probably more than a hundred people?!" Tatiana asked.

"Yes ma'am, several hundred people actually."

"Is there any proof?"

"Physical proof? No. As I said she has compelled everyone to do this and then to forget about it afterwards. And it isn't just oral sex either, she has gotten pregnant four times. "I don't know for sure, but I think that she thought that since it was so soon after the crash. That I was still buried in so much grief that I would be easy prey for her."

I saw Abe, Alberta and Tatiana all nodded in agreement with Roza and I.

"I think that I am going to be sick." Tatiana said a few minutes later as she pressed a hand to her forehead.

And admittedly she did look a little 'green around the gills' so to speak.

Roza stood up and went to pour Tatiana a glass of water.

"Thank you, Rose." She said with a small smile to my love as she continued to hold her hand against her forehead.

"You're welcome."

"Why did you never tell this to anyone Rose?"

"With my reputation, thanks to Kirova, who, other than Alberta, would have believed me? Who else could I have gone to? And what could they have done, given the fact that the bitch is a moroi?"
