"You realize that's around forty-five to fifty people, right?"

"Yes. But we can't leave anyone behind. Because that would make you just as miserable as it would me."

"That is true it would. We also need to get more rings made for aunt Tati and her guardians. And Syd needs some time off not only while her blood is being collected but also to rest. She has been working almost non-stop since she started this project. This way when she does get her blood she can be fresh and clear minded."

Roza turned to Abe and aunt Tati. "What do you say, would the two of you like to go on a family vacation?"

"That would be the first family vacation that I have been on since I was a young girl. Plus, I've never been to Florida or Disney World." Aunt Tati replied with a huge smile.

"So, yes. I would like very much to join you, thank you so much for inviting me."

"You are most welcome, and you are a part of our family too aunt Tati. So, please don't ever forget that." She smiled, her eyes filled with tears of joy and happiness.

"What about your mother kiz?"

I saw my Roza's face fall, that question had thrown a sudden dampener on her mood.

"He's right Roza. You... well we, have avoided this for as long as we can. She will be here for graduation. I don't know why she didn't come after the attack this time she did last time. But you don't need to be afraid lyubov' moya, because I promise you that I will not ever leave your side." (my love)

"I'm not afraid, not really, at least not of her. I am more afraid of what I will do to her if she tries to start some shit about you and or baba. We both know what I am capable of now. And with the way that she always makes me lose my temper, I could very easily hurt her. And I don't want to do that. Thanks to you and baba I know that she used to love me. I am not so sure that she still does, but according to the two of you she did at one time. And she didn't want to give me away. But now..."

"I understand lyubov' moya, but please try, if only for me and our future children. They deserve to know their maternal grandmother lyubov' moya, if it is at all possible." (my love, my love)

Dimitri had a good point, actually he had several. Our children did deserve to know my mother. Just as at one time she deserved to know them. Not so much now with the way that she has acted in the last fourteen years.

But for now, I had to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she only acted that way because of the threat to our lives. Maybe she was just afraid to visit and act like she cared, because she was being watched and she didn't want to put me in danger.

"All right, when she comes for graduation I will try to talk to her. Depending on how that talk goes, I may or may not invite her along for the trip. And if I do invite her and the trip goes well, then I will invite her to our coronation, crowning acctivities as well as our wedding."

Dimitri looked at me, his eyes filled with sooo much pride.

"Thank you, lyubov' moya, thank you. You are a truly remarkable woman." (my love)

"Just remember you said that just in case this all blows up in both of our faces and we have to fight for our lives." All four of us laughed.

Over the next week and a half Mitya and I each made two lists. One of all of the places that we have always dreamed of going, or where Mitya is concerned, maybe going back to. And the other list was of things that we'd always wanted to do.
