All this Time

*Song fiction..so maybe you may feel more into the story if you read with the song in bg, scenes in sync with it"

It was new year of 2007

Robbie Williams was on his guitar trying to find a song for his best mates and guests . They were in a resort to enjoy the new year and everyone of his close friends were present.

"What song should I sing people?" He had just ended a romantic melody resulting his fiance Ayda to blush tomato red. The small group of friends were gathered infront of him enjoying the night

"Can we change RW playlist?" His  friend Gary asks cheekily.

"True its boring to hear the same songs in every party we throw, Rob" Says his childhood mate and best man Johnny

Rob look at him annoyed and turned to their Tv presenter friend infront of him "Dec... which one do you prefer?"

"Huh? " Dec asks

"No wonder you didnt hear us. Your eyes were on Ant" Johnny laughs pointing to the black haired man standing at the other side of the small crowd

Ant, Dec's presenting partner and their friend frown at that "Shut up man. What does it matter which song you choose, we eventually have to close our ears "

Dec laughs at that heartily and Ant giggles proud that he can still make his best mate of  more than a decade laugh like that.

Robbie look at them for a bit and notice that they are still staring at each other.  He catches Johnny's eyes and shows him their two bachelor friends immersed in their own world.

He then clears his throat.
"So as per your request I am singing a song by another artist.  Its by One Republic from their album Waking Up. I dedicate it to the sweetest couple of our gang........ antanddec".

Everyone laugh at that reference and Ant and Dec blushes. Robbie smirks "Lights out.. lets build up an atmosphere "

The lights were dimmed and small LED fancy lights ornated the garden. Ant slowly look at where Dec was and see him staring. Ant's heart flutters He is still the most beautiful man I know.

Dec's thoughts too were not different.

Sweet guitar notes fill the air and Robbie sings:

Six on the second hand to new year's resolutions
There's just no question what this man should do

Ant blink at the cute face now filling his head and heart and felt himself pulled towards his smaller friend

Take all the time lost, all the days that I cost

Dec felt as if his heart wants to exit his chest to run to his taller friend. Ant's eyes are the most captivating of things he had ever seen.

All this time we were waiting for each other

Ant looked at Dec and tears stinged his eyes. All this time....

We got all these words, can't waste them on another
So I'm straight in a straight line running back to you

Dec felt his heart tugging and eyes welling up. All these words....

I don't know what day it is, I had to check the paper
I don't know the city but it isn't home

A single tear slip from Dec's eyes to his cheek and Ant's heart tugs painfully at that.  He hate to see his Dec sad. A strong urge to take him in his arms plague his thoughts.  He slowly walk backwards away from the group, his eyes not leaving Dec

You say I'm lucky to love something that loves me
But I'm torn as I could be wherever I roam

Dec looked at Ant and realise what Ant felt. He too backed away from the group... towards his Ant because he was the only one he had ever loved even if he was unable to confess that
You never knew Anth ...

They walked , eager to fall into another's arms

Got all these words, can't waste them on another
So I'm straight in a straight line running back to you, yeah

Ant saw Dec coming to him and his heart fluttered with joy. I cant wait another minuite...I dont want another one... Its been always you Dec...It will always ever be you...

Ant increase his pace and so does Dec,  desperate to be in each other's arms

As they reach the back of the small crowd, away from everyone, they stop and look at each other , less than 20feet between them. Dec's eyes were now flowing freely and as Robbie took the song to its higher notes,

Dec ran to Ant

To get back to where you are

He falls into Ant's arms, already wide open to accept him and he collides with his taller friend.

All this time we were waiting for each other

Ant catch him effectively and hug him tightly as if there is not tomorrow.

All this time I was waiting for you

Ant kiss Dec's tresses with affection who cuddles more into him

We got all this love, can't waste it on another

They break the hug and look at each other, eyes pouring out years of hidden love

So I'm straight in a straight line running back to you

Dec slowly nuzzles Ant's neck and Ant places a chaste kiss on his cheeks. Dec slowly lifts his head and not being able to hold himself more from falling into those beautiful eyes, Ant connect their lips

Dec held onto Ant as he responded to his kiss and flinched as fireworks broke out.Ant holds him close and rubs his hair comforting him

As Robbie end the last note, he look at the cute pair at the back again immersed in their own new found world. They had tears in their eyes and as Robbie points them to everyone else, there wasnt a single dry eye in that small intimate crowd. As they quietly exit the garden to continue rest of the party from balcony, AntandDec stood beneath the colorful bulbs and amazing firelights in the sky.

Ant slowly whispers to Dec,  tears choking him "All this time?"

Dec nodded, biting his lip to control his emotions "All this time"

Ant slowly caress Dec's cheek, hair  and brushes his thumb to his lips "Happy new year"

Dec smiles sweetly at that "Happy new year " and pull Ant to another kiss mingled with water, salt and love

*Its a story... no relation to facts like year and all. Also... I can just imagine AAD singing this song during SNT next year 😍😢😢💕*
