Auston's POV:

I smiled at Brynn as she looked at Elle in the back seat. She was giggling and smiling as we blasted the soundtrack to Moana. She looked back at me and gave me her amazing award-winning smile as she grabbed my hand and squeezed it. We pulled into the parking lot of my loft complex in Toronto and I jumped out. I ran around to the passenger side opening the door and helping Brynn out. I opened the backdoor and unbuckled Elle from her car seat and pulled her out of the car. I held on to her as Brynn and I walked into the complex towards the elevator. We got to my floor and were greeted by Mitch and Freddie.

"Well, well, well. Look at the happy couple." Freddie said as he reached for Elle.

Mitch smiled at me and looked at Auston. "You guys practically disappeared off the face of the earth for a good week and a half almost. So does this qualify as a honeymoon or what?"

I eyed Mitch and shook my head at him. "Mitch, no." I whispered.

Him and Freddie laughed before walking with us to Auston's apartment. When we walked inside, I was pulled into a bear hug by Steph.

"Oh my gosh. I missed you. You can't just drop me for almost two weeks without telling me you're taking a hiatus." She said.

I pulled away laughing. "I'm sorry. I'm just trying to avoid my phone as much as possible. I know if I turn it on I'll have hundreds of messages from my mother and Ryan and..." I trailer off towards the end causing everyone to look at me.

I looked at them and smiled."Thanks for coming to greet us. I'm really beat though. I think I'm gonna head in."

I gave Mitch, Steph, and Freddie a hug while pulling Elle from Freddie's grasp. They smiled at me as I walked past Auston. I closed the door to the bedroom and sat Elle down on the bed. I changed into a pair of running shorts and one of Auston's t-shirts. I changed Elle and laid down on the bed. Auston walked in and sat down next to me pulling me into his lap.

"Welcome home beautiful." He said to me with a smile.

I smiled up at him. "I missed this. I missed you. I'm so happy I'm back with you."

He smiled and looked down at Elle who was fast asleep in between the both of us. "Let's get some sleep. I know how tired you are."

I nodded and gave him a soft peck before laying down and falling asleep. I smiled when I felt his arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer to him. I felt right at home.
