Brynn's POV:
I ran the comb through Elle's crazy bed-head curls as I heard a knock on the apartment door. I sat Elle down as I walked to the door. I opened it and my eyes widened. Auston smiled nervously as Ryan stood behind him. They both walked into the apartment as I sat down at the bar counter. Ryan paced the apartment before he sat down and scratched his head.
"I have tried to contact you more than a hundred times since the wedding. Mom has, Alec," He chuckled darkly. "Alec is a complete wreck. He hasn't left his house since you ran off."
"Ryan stop please!" I said quietly.
He shook his head. "Why should I? You-you had a good guy, a good man. You had a life of love and happiness and you threw it all away to get back together with the asshole that cheated on you."
Ryan pointed his words toward Auston very clearly as he stared straight at him. Auston went to speak before Ryan stopped him.
"I don't want to hear whatever the hell it is that you want to say to me. Why couldn't you have just stayed away and let her be happy?" He said.
Auston looked up at him. "You mean let Alec be happy. You're sister wasn't happy and you know it. Don't act so stupid."
I watched the two of them bicker back and forth before I felt my stomach lurch. I pushed between the two of them towards the bathroom and barely made it to the toilet as I emptied the contents of my stomach. I felt a hand on my back as I pulled back and looked up at Auston.
"Don't stress yourself out over this baby. It's not good for either of you." He said to me.
I nodded and let him help me up before Ryan stopped us. "What do you mean either of you?"
I looked at him and forced a smile. "I unfortunately wanted to tell you on better circumstances."
I heard the bedroom door open as Elle ran out towards Auston. He picked her up and I smiled as her and Auston shared an eskimo kiss. I looked back at Ryan and laid my hand on my stomach.
"Ryan, I'm pregnant." I told him.
His eyes widened. He stepped towards me and pulled me into a hug. I hugged back as he sniffled. "That's amazing. Congratulations."
He pulled away and glared at Auston. "You may be the father to my new coming niece or nephew, but that doesn't mean that I still don't despise the literal hell out of you because trust me I do. This doesn't change anything between us."
Ryan left the bathroom as Auston looked down at me. "Well I think that went better then expected."
