Auston's POV:

I watched Brynn talk with Jess as Mitch and Naz sat with me. We were having the baby shower for Kingsley that Steph so desperately wanted to throw for Brynn. Elle ran around with the other kids as Brynn walked over to me. I stood up and wrapped my hands around her waist. She was wearing a white dress that hugged her perfectly and had her bump on full display. She smiled up at me as I gave her a kiss. Morgan walked up to us as he patted my back.

"Steph sure does know how to throw a party. That's for sure." He told us.

We laughed as Brynn put her hands on her stomach. "I doubt it was for any of our benefits besides Kingsley's. Her and Mitch are over the moon about Kingsley. They might end up kidnapping her after she's born."

Morgan laughed before he looked back at Brynn. "I'm sorry by the way. About your mom. No one should ever lose their parents no matter the relationship."

Brynn smiled at Morgan. "Thank you Morgan. I appreciate that a lot. I'm just glad I could do a little something to remember her."

Morgan and I looked at Brynn as she smiled at me. "What's that?"

Brynn smiled with rubbed her growing stomach. "I'm going to give my daughter her grandmothers name. Both of them."

I looked at Brynn as a smile grew on my face. She giggled as I hugged her tightly! "You're amazing Brynn!"

Morgan smiled at the both of us as Mitch, Freddie, Jess and Steph walked up.

"What's with all the commotion?" Mitch asked with a smile.

I nudged Brynn as she smiled widely. "We decided on the finished product of Baby K's name."

Jess gasped and spoke quickly. "What is it?"

I wrapped my arms tightly around Brynn's waist and kissed her forehead as she spoke. "Well I wanted to do something to remember my mom. I also wanted to do something for Auston's mom. So it will be Kingsley Ema Elizabeth Matthews."

Freddie and Mitch cheered as Jess and Steph hugged Brynn. The rest of the team and their significant others joined us.

"Guys, I just want to thank you so much for being here. Honestly, you guys have been our biggest supporters through everything, and I know that Brynn is just as thankful for you guys. I know that our daughter is going to be born into a family of hockey players. She is going to be loved unconditionally by all of them." Before I could finish, John interrupted me.

"And she's going to be spoiled and the only sport she's allowed to play is hockey." John said with a smile.

"And no boyfriends. EVER!" Freddie added in.

Brynn started to giggle. William spoke up. "If she looks anything like Brynn, can us single guys use her to get some girls?"

The guys all laughed as Brynn pushed William. He laughed as Brynn spoke this time.

"I love all you guys. I'm blessed with the best family in the world." She said happily.

Everyone cheered again as I pulled Brynn in for a kiss. "I love you," I told her softly.

She smiled up at me and kissed me again. "I love you too."
